(ANSA) - LOS ANGELES, 14 LUG - Sono state annunciate a Los Angeles le serie televisive nominate per la prossima edizione degli Emmy Awards, gli Oscar della tv conferiti dall'Academy of Television Arts and Science. Gli attori Melissa McCarthy e Joshua Jackson hanno letto la lista degli attori e dei programmi che il prossimo 18 settembre si contenderanno gli ambiti premi. Lo show di punta della AMC, Mad Men, ha conquistato 19 nomination. La serie che vede protagonista l'attore Jonathan Hamm concorrera' nella categoria di miglior serie drammatica fianco a fianco con Dexter della Showtime, Game of Thrones, The Good Life, Friday Night Lights e la sorpresa dell'ultima stagione televisiva a stelle e strisce: Boardwalk Empire. Lo show con Steve Buscemi e' un percorso noir nella malavita di Atlantic City durante il proibizionismo. La serie e' la scommessa vinta di Terence Winter, gia' produttore dei Sopranos. Tra i telefilm comici si prevede una sfida a due tra Modern Family, che con l'attore Eric Stonestreet potrebbe aggiudicarsi anche il premio di miglior attore non protagonista. Per quanto riguarda il miglior attore protagonista, Steve Buscemi dovra' vedersela con Michael Hall di 'Dexter', Kyle Chandler di 'Friday Night Lights', Hugh Laurie di 'House', Timothy Olyphant di 'Justified' e Jon Hamm di Mad Men. Alec Baldwin potrebbe dominare la categoria di miglior attore in una serie comica con 30 Rock.

Mad Men inizia a stufare...diciamo che questi Emmy rispecchiano la mancanza di originalità evidente di questa stagione (a parte BIG C e Hot Cleveland...), premiando i soliti noti e qualche outsider per smuovere le acque stagnanti...
