Some Twitter aren’t happy that some Glee stars have chosen to keep quiet as the search remains for Naya Rivera, who went missing last week after a lake trip in California.
Now, Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, and more have spoken out about why they chose to be silent while others have sent prayers and other comments about Naya.
“I haven’t seen not one of the GLEE CAST MEMBERS POST ABT NAYA EXCEPT FOR @HeatherMorrisTV AND @dotmariejones y’all a need to do better @LeaMichele @JennaUshkowitz @chriscolfer,” one Twitter user wrote, sparking the conversation of why they didn’t. Amber was one of the first to clap back at her own reason – because it’s not about her. It’s about Naya. “Show some respect. All our energy is going toward helping find Naya and praying for her safe return and for her family. No one owes anyone online a performance of grief,” she wrote. “This is very real and devastating. Focus on Naya and her family. Not us. We don’t matter right now.”
Fans also came to Chris Colfer‘s defense, who hadn’t posted anything about Naya’s disappearnce. One wrote, “I just want to tell you that you don’t owe us anything, we love you and we’re here to support you and your friends who are going through so much pain right now, I’m sorry if there are people who have made you feel like you can’t grieve at peace, we love you ❤” Years ago, Chris also opened up about how he personally mourned losing Cory Monteith, who passed away seven years ago tomorrow, and his statement is just as relevant right now.
Lea Michele has deactivated her Twitter account as of the time of this posting.
Her usual handle, @leamichele, now shows a deactivated account page with none of her previous tweets listed.
Fans are beginning to theorize why Lea may have made this move. It has been a tough couple of months for Lea after she was involved in a big controversy over her alleged on set behavior.
Lea‘s Glee co-star, Naya Rivera, has also been missing for several days after boating with her son Josey, 4, at Lake Piru in California.
In addition, Monday (July 13) is the anniversary of Lea‘s boyfriend Cory Monteith‘s tragic death back in 2013. His cause of death was later revealed to be due to heroin and alcohol.

GOSSIP - Ultima spiaggia!
News tratta da Corriere.it
This is wrong», scrive Anderson. Ironicamente. O forse no.

L'EDICOLA DI LOU - Stralci, cover e commenti sui telefilm dai media italiani e stranieri

Grazie a tutti.

GOSSIP - Stranger Web! Millie Bobbie Brown lascia twitter per accuse omofobe

News tratta da "Uproxx"
Only days after news spread that Star Wars: The Last Jedi actress Kelly Marie Tran deleted her Instagram in response to abuse from fans, Stranger Things actress Millie Bobbie Brown has done similar with her Twitter account. The move is the latest celebrity who decided to leave social media following fan criticism, bullying, and backlash from critics and fans. Brown’s decision to leave her personal account behind comes with an odd wrinkle related to the type of “memes and gifs” the actress had been receiving according to Variety:
The Emmy-nominated actress has been plagued for the past seven months or so by the hashtag #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown. It began with posted photos of Brown that were been altered to make her appear homophobic. Per Nylon, the hashtag apparently was coined in November but has regained momentum lately. Some Twits have had a grand old time with it, while others insist that it’s strictly for gay people and that “hets shouldn’t interact.”
Variety adds that the memes are an inside joke with the LGBT community online, but it is still confusing to many. Not only that, but the apparent joke was lost on plenty of fans, and some publicly thought that Brown was posting homophobic content on social media. As Deadline adds, the reasoning behind it doesn’t matter at this point and Brown is gone from Twitter apart from her anti-bullying account that hasn’t been updated since December 2017. Brown and Tran are only the most recent, joining Daisy Ridley’s exit from Instagram and Leslie Jones’ much-publicized exit from Twitter in 2016.

GOSSIP - Libere fino a un certo punto. "Orange Is The New Black" rivela ad attrice 43enne che è ritenuta "troppo vecchia per il ruolo di moglie di un 57enne"
Orange Is The New Black actress Jamie Denbo is opening up about being told she was too old for a role. The 43-year-old actress revealed that she was recently told she was too old to portray the wife of an 57-year-old male actor. Jamie took to her Twitter to speak out on the unfair standards for women in Hollywood. “I was just informed that at the age of 43, I am TOO OLD to play the wife of a 57 year old,” she began. Jamie continued, “Oh, the characters also have an 18 year-old daughter. I am TOO OLD to be the mother of an 18 year-old. The real wife of the 57 year-old actor is EASILY AT LEAST 50. But this f**ker wants to be tv married to a 38 year-old -TOPS.”

No one should need to be reminded of this, but clearly some on social media have not yet received the message: Actors are not the same as the characters they play. Actors are real people. On television or on movies, they play a part. Do not confuse the actor with the character. The latest to suffer from the King Joffrey effect is Josh McDermitt, who plays Eugene, the mullet-haired wonder on The Walking Dead. By all accounts, McDermitt is a nice guy. I’ve heard him on podcasts. He’s smart and funny and personable. His character on The Walking Dead, however, is a self-confessed coward, a man who turned on his friends to spare his own life. Whether the rest of us would choose the same path as Eugene on The Walking Dead is irrelevant here, however, because Eugene is not a real person. Josh McDermitt is. Nevertheless, some folks on social media have seen fit to treat McDermitt as though he is Eugene, and they have begun to attack him for the misdeeds of his character. McDermitt received death threats because of something his character did on a fictional show set in a fictional world where zombies exist. The harassment got so intense for McDermitt that the actor eventually chose to quit all of social media. He pulled down his Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages, which contained scores of candid photos, messages and witticisms. Before he deleted his social media accounts, however, he did leave one message:
“Death threats, don’t send me death threats, because I will report all that s— to the cops. I’m just sick of it. You can hate Eugene, I don’t care. You can think whatever you want but when you start saying you hope I die, I don’t know if you’re talking about Josh or Eugene. I gotta report that s—, so, just don’t be an a—hole. And just stop complaining. Just stop complaining about everything on the Internet. Just go spend time with your family or friends or loved ones. Just get off the Internet. I love you, I do. I love you guys.”
McDermitt has spoken out against cyberbullying in the past. Last year, he took issue with fans for body-shaming Alanna Masterson after an episode last November. From Huffington Post:
“People need to chill the F out with the crap that they’re putting on the internet. It’s very disturbing because we are people, everyone. And I’m not talking about actors. I’m talking about anyone on the internet. I mean, I just read something on CNN the other day where a teenage girl committed suicide who was cyber bullied. This is bullsh*t. This should never happen.”
McDermitt is not wrong. Nevertheless, since he quit social media, fans have not only come to his defense, but offered an outpouring of support on social medial.

GOSSIP - Che Barb!
Shannon Purser opened up about her sexuality last week on Twitter and now she is coming out to fans as bisexual. The 19-year-old Riverdale actress wrote a powerful message to her fans in which she talked about coming out to her friends and family, and also apologized to fans who might have been offended by a recent tweet she wrote. “I don’t normally do this, but I figure now is as good a time as any to get personal,” Shannon wrote in the note. “I’ve only just recently come out as bisexual to my family and friends. It’s something I am still processing and trying to understand and I don’t like talking about it too much. I’m very very new to the LGBT community. ”Shannon, who played Barb on Stranger Things, responded to fans who accused her of “queerbaiting” after she wrote a tweet about Riverdale viewers who “ship” the relationship between Betty and Veronica.
