Millie Bobby Brown must've channeled Eleven's superpowers when it came time to renegotiate her "Stranger Things" contract ... because she's getting an ENORMOUS raise. Brown -- who plays the teen girl with psychokinetic abilities -- was scheduled to get paid just shy of $25k per episode for season 3 of the popular Netflix series ... according to her original contract, obtained by TMZ. That would've been an increase of about $1,000 per episode from season 2, but as we reported...the main cast of kids renegotiated and got fat pay bumps for season 3 to around $250,000 per episode. Millie's raise is reportedly even more, though ... possibly as much as $350,000, which would match the salaries of the adult stars of the show, David Harbour and Winona Ryder. That means for a 9-episode season 3, Brown could haul in as much as $3.15 million...as opposed to the roughly $225k she'd have gotten in her original contract. It's good to be Eleven.

No one, outside of Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos and maybe the company janitor who’s also an undercover hacker knows how popular Stranger Things is, outside of “very.” The company is that guarded about its ratings. So, it’s always a little surprising when specific numbers are attached to any Netflix series, especially the streaming service’s (presumably) biggest hit. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Stranger Things cast is getting a massive pay bump in season three, with the young cast earning 12 times their previous salaries.

According to sources, the main actors are divided into different pay tiers. Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper) make up the “A tier” and are making up to $350,000 an episode. The “B tier” consists of the young stars — Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Noah Schnapp (Will) — who are each collecting $250,000 per episode. Meanwhile, the actors in the “C tier” — onscreen teenagers Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) and Joe Keery (Steve) — are each pocketing roughly $150,000 an episode. (Via)

In previous seasons, Ryder and Harbour were paid $100,000 and $80,000 an episode, respectively, while the kids earned somewhere in the low $20,000s. For comparison’s sake: five stars on Game of Thrones — Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau — make $500,000 per episode. That’s more than Stranger Things‘ “A tier” cast, but Thrones has fewer episodes per season; season seven was seven episodes long, compared to nine for season two of Stranger Things. Millie Bobby Brown glances at the camera on the cover of Dazed magazine’s Winter 2016 issue, available now. Here’s what the 12-year-old Stranger Things actress and her co-star Finn Wolfhard had to share with the mag:

Millie, on what she would tell her character Eleven: “Don’t give up, that’s it. She’s always trying to give up, but she can’t. But maybe one day she will! You never know.” 

Finn, on auditioning for the show from his bedroom: “I did it sick from bed. Just on my phone, then I emailed it. Matt and Ross [Duffer] loved it, and they made me do it again. Finally, I came to LA and met them.”

Millie, on meeting Winona Ryder: “She’s incredible, ultra-professional and a really good friend. I met her in the production office and we were all having lunch and she just came in and was like, ‘I was told that I look like you!’ We’d sneak away to her trailer to eat cheese and crackers and gossip.”

Finn, on what’d he wants to see in season two: “I’d love to see myself a little heartbroken. You know, because Elle’s been gone for a year, so I’d love to see him [have to] conquer being a little sad, a little depressed.”

(ANSA) - Novita' in casa Netflix per la nuova stagione, con un catalogo di ben 11 titoli. La piu' grande rete di Internet TV nel mondo, annuncia oggi la data di lancio di numerose serie di vario genere - dalle sit-com alle serie per bambini - e conferma l'arrivo di nuove stagioni delle serie di piu' grande successo, tra cui Marvel's Jessica Jones. In Black Mirror, una delle serie originali di Netflix, la star inglese Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Beyond the Lights, Concussion e Doctor Who) e Mackenzie Davis (The F Word, Halt and Catch Fire and The Martian) svolgeranno due dei ruoli principali. Creata e scritta da Charlie Brooker, la serie vedra' Owen Harris (Kill Your Friends) come regista mentre Charlie Brooker e Annabel Jones saranno executive producers. La seconda stagione di Jessica Jones (in data da definirsi), mentre la prima e' attualmente disponibile su Netflix. La serie lancia uno sguardo nella vita ricca di suspance e di colpi di scena di Jessica Jones, uno dei personaggi piu' famosi della Marvel degli ultimi dieci anni. A Kristen Ritter (Jessica)  - premiata dalla critica - si unisce un fantastico cast di attori, David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, e Wil Traval. Si parte il 19 febbraio con Love, una serie-commedia di 10 episodi incentrati, ovviamente sull'amore tra i due protagonisti. A seguire l'11 marzo sara' disponibile Flaked, una storia serio-comica ambientata a Venezia (in California), in cui il protagonista si innamora della stessa ragazza del suo migliore amico. I primi 10 episodi di The Ranch saranno visibili da 1 aprile. Si tratta di una commedia ambientata in Colorado, con protagonista Ashton Kutcher che torna a casa dopo una breve carriera nel football professionistico. Sempre il 1 aprile sara' la volta di Lost & Found Music Studios, una serie live action su un gruppo di musicisti teenager. La seconda stagione della divertente serie TV commedia Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt sara' disponibile dal 15 aprile, con il ritorno delle "donne talpa", e sempre nello stesso giorno avremo Kong: King of the Apes, una serie animata dedicata allo scimmione piu' popolare del mondo. Il 5 maggio ci sara' la premiére di Marseille, nel cui cast figura anche Gerard Depardieu, oltre a tanti altri attori francesi. Il giorno successivo ritorna l'ironica comedy con Jane Fonda e Lily Tomlin, che interpretano Grace and Frankie. Il 3 giugno arriva Word Party: dedicato ai bambini in eta' pre-scolare, segue 4 cuccioli di animali mentre cantano, ballano e giocano. Mentre il 17 giugno e' dedicato a un pubblico piu' adulto con Orange is the New Black, la serie TV scandalo, pluri-premiata e ultra acclamata della vincitrice dell'Emmy Award che ritorna con la quarta stagione dopo i successi delle precedenti.  E ancora, Stranger Things: disponibile dal 15 luglio e' la nuova serie drammatica scritta e diretta da Matt Duffer e Ross Duffer che racconta le vicende di un ragazzo che svanisce nel nulla. Nel momento in cui gli amici, la famiglia e la polizia si mettono alla ricerca di risposte, vengono travolti in uno straordinario mistero che include esperimenti segreti, forze sovrannaturali e terrificanti, e una strana bambina. Nel cast Winona Ryder. The Get Down: la prima parte disponibile dal 12 agosto. I primi sei episodi del music-drama di Baz Luhrmann, prodotto da Sony Pictures Television, racconta la New York degli anni '70 - dove un gruppo di teenager del Bronx non ha nessuno che li difenda nelle violente strade della citta', eccetto loro stessi, armati solo di parole e giochi verbali, di passi di danza e bombolette spray da graffiti.
