NEWS - Ecco perchè "Krypton" sarà "una specie di 'Game of Thrones' nello spazio"...

News tratta da "Uproxx"
You’d think the idea of hanging around a superhero’s home turf before they were a hero would sound boring. Then Gotham came along and reminded us that in the right hands, nothing is boring, especially when your network will let you get away with blowing up characters with a rocket launcher. So now the long-rumored Krypton is finally getting a shot, or at least a pilot.
We’ve known a pilot was coming for a while, but it appears that SyFy is planning to take the show to series. The plot follows the House of El, two generations before Jor-El fires his baby into space, as they’re unjustly disgraced and attempt to return to prominence. In other words, it’s Game of Thrones, but probably less violent and in space. They’ve already locked in a showrunner, Sleepy Hollow‘s Damian Kindler, and even though Supergirl is struggling with CBS, it seems likely to return in some way. And, of course, Smallville kept up the Superman prequel business for a solid decade.
Of course, a pilot order and preparing for a series is not the same thing as making a series. Still, there’s a lot of leeway here. Krypton has been everything from a sterile, emotionless society in the hands of John Byrne to a vibrant pulpy space adventure setting in the Silver Age. If handled right, even Superman’s grandpa will be fun to watch. Especially if they give him a rocket launcher.

NEWS - Un "Mr. Robot" per NBC! Il network ossessionato dagli ascolti di Netflix, cerca un esperto informatico che gli sveli il segreto

News tratta da "Vulture"
You know how sometimes, after a breakup, you stalk your ex's Instagram photos to see if she's got a new man? And you know how, after that, you'll keep finding ways to drive past her house to see if there's another car in her driveway? And you know how, other times, you'll hire a PI to trail her every movement? That's how NBC feels about Netflix's ratings, which the streaming giant infamously keeps under wraps. The network is so obsessed with finding out just how many people are watching Netflix shows that it hired a tech company to use audio recognition software to get viewership estimates for a handful of streaming shows, and then announced its findings onstage Wednesday during a presentation at the TCAs. If these results are true — which, we assume, Netflix will say they aren't — Jessica Jones saw an average audience of 4.8 million viewers per episode, which according to these numbers makes it roughly as popular as American Crime; Narcos landed at 3.2 million per episode, a little less than Sleepy Hollow; and Master of None came in with an even 3 million, near Last Man on Earth. (Amazon's Man in the High Castle reportedly had 2.1 million viewers per episode, about the same as Truth Be Told.) Again, it's unclear how seriously we should take these numbers, but, regardless, this is possibly the shadiest thing we've ever seen.

Net"+"Deadline"
Deadline brings word that 20th Century Fox is developing a modern take on the classic TV series The A-Team. Fast & Furious producer Chris Morgan will executive produce The A-Team remake series with Tawnia McKiernan, the daughter of original series creator Stephen J. Cannell. Albert Kim (“Sleepy Hollow,” “Nikita”) will script the latest adaptation of the material. The outlet reports that like the original series, the new show will focus on a team of special forces operatives framed for a crime they didn’t commit, and intent on bringing down the black-ops organization that set them up. In between clearing their name, however, the team will help others along the way. Unlike the original cast, the new series will include both male and female members among its ranks.
Originally created by Cannell and Frank Lupo, the series premiered in 1983 and went on to last for five seasons and 98 episodes. It starred George Peppard as Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, Dirk Benedict as Lieutenant Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Dwight Schultz as Captain “Howling Mad” Murdock, and Mr. T as  B. A. Baracus.
A feature film remake was released in 2010 from director Joe Carnahan and featured Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley, and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as the four main characters.

NEWS - Clamoroso al Cibali! Un cross-over tra "Bones" e "Sleepy Hollow"!
News tratta da "Uproxx"
Sleepy Hollow is a pretty strange show in a lot of ways, what with the time travel and the conspiracies between the Founding Fathers and all that. Bones, the forensics procedural featuring a bunch of nerds with zero social skills, would seem to be the audience rather than a show it crosses over with. But, apparently, Fox will be doing exactly that. The two shows are airing back to back on Thursdays this season, so the crossover episodes will air back-to-back, according to EW. And at least the beginning incident of any crossover makes sense: Ichabod and Abbie spend a lot of time messing with dusty old skeletons, the Bones crew spend a lot of time messing with dusty old skeletons, all you need is an intriguing-enough dusty old skeleton. Although considering some of the stunts the Headless Horseman pulls, we could also see the Bones crew coming to figure who he’s turned into a Jack O’Lantern or something this week. That said, you’ve got to wonder how a show that’s ostensibly about science is going to mesh with a show featuring zombies, ghosts, hell dimensions, and whatever Katrina’s plotline was supposed to be. At least Ichabod will blend in with the various weirdos on Temperance Brennan’s staff; we’ll find out how well sometime this season.

GOSSIP - Po(r)ker! E sono 4: dopo Laverne Cox ("OITNB"), Katheryn Winnick ("Vikings") e Nicole Beharie ("Sleepy Hollow") tocca a Jordan Brewster di "Dallas" su "Allure"
"There's a strength to the portrait that I'm really proud of," says the Furious 7 and "Dallas" star. No kidding. Brewster, 35, runs six days a week, meditates twice a day, and mixes in "some weird Cirque du Soleil–type acrobatic work," she says. "Having to wear those tight outfits in the [Fast and Furious] franchise has helped me keep fitness a part of my life."
Have those Fast and Furious workouts changed your body?
"My legs used to be my least-favorite body part, but now they're really strong and muscular."
Did you tell your husband that you'd be posing nude?
"I asked if he had any reservations. He said, 'Just don't do full frontal.' He'll be pleasantly surprised."
Why now?
"I'm having more fun posing nude or being in a bikini or doing love scenes than I ever did before because it hit me: This is fleeting, and in a couple of years I won't be able to do this, so just enjoy it."
Do you walk differently when naked?
"It depends whether someone is watching."
Were you raised in a household where nudity was no big deal?
"I was raised in Brazil for part of my life, where people are pretty open about their bodies, so yeah. The bikinis are kind of nonexistent, so you might as well be naked."

GOSSIP - Non c'è due senza tre! Anche Nicole Beharie di "Sleepy Hollow" nuda su "Allure" (dopo Laverne Cox di "OITNB" e Katheryn Winnick di "Vikings")
Nicole Beharie, 30, has experience being physical onscreen, whether in bed with Michael Fassbender in Shame or "fighting demons in the woods" in Sleepy Hollow. As for the latter: "It requires athleticism. As a woman, it's good to be able to handle your own shit."
How do you stay in shape for Sleepy Hollow?
"I run; I do a lot of dance classes; I swim; I really love lifting weights. I'll make myself do something every day, even when my heart's not in it."
What was the best part of the shoot?
"I just turned 30, and I was really nervous [about posing].... But I wanted to celebrate and accept my body in an artistic way."
Do you have a favorite body part?
"I love my bum. I have a good bum."
