Kristen Bell looks so relaxed and happy on the cover of Shape magazine’s November 2017 issue, on newsstands October 17. Here’s what the 37-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On teaching her daughters about being healthy: “It’s important to me to show my children that I care about my health and fitness enough to stay committed. So when I’m in their room with them, I’ll do squats. When they ask what I’m doing, I’ll say I’m getting my physical fitness in…it’s a value I want to instill in my kids at an early age – that paying attention to your body is mandatory.”

On finding time to workout: “At work, while I’m running through lines with my fellow actors, I’ll be leaning backward on a chair doing tripcep dips. At home, when my kids and I are on a walk, and they’re meandering and looking at leaves, I’ll do lunges. I get it in however and whenever I can.”

On her best healthy habit: “My best healthy habit is knowing how to read a nutrition label…I try to balance everything…I appreciate understanding what I’m putting into my body.”

Kristen Bell takes the cover of Redbook magazine’s August 2016 issue. Here’s what the 35-year-old Veronica Mars star had to share with the mag:
On opening up about battling depression: “It didn’t occur to me that I would help anybody. Also, I didn’t expect to be so moved by people’s comments on social media about how they had been prescribed medication and never wanted to take it until now because it finally didn’t feel shameful. You’re labeled as a failure if you can’t kick depression. That’s bulls–t. You would never deny a diabetic his insulin and go, ‘Why can’t you process sugar on your own?’”
On husband Dax Shepard getting jealous: “Every now and again, but he layers it in comedy. When I get ready for a red-carpet event, he’ll say, ‘Don’t get too confident tonight and think of leaving me!’ I’m like, ‘You’re lucky that nobody at this party is going to be as interesting as you are!’”
On how she and Dax work well: “We fought a lot and I loved a dramatic exit. It I could slam a door, I felt so powerful. If I could get in my car and screech away, it was even better…. He said to me, ‘If we have an issue, you can’t leave. We’re going to talk or I’m not going to do this with you.’ I loved him so much that I was like, I better get my act together.”

"This is the first interview I've ever done where I'm not wearing panties. Lucky you," says Kristen Bell. She has just stripped down for Allure's annual nudes shoot (in the May issue of Allure, on newsstands now). And so did three other courageous actresses: Minnie Driver, Jenna Dewan Tatum, and Nia Long. "I was a little bit nervous, but I actually really love my body—it's done amazing things for me," says Driver of the experience. "There's such a grace to being confident in who you are." We asked the women what it feels like to disrobe for America.

Kristen Bell is candid about her body: "My belly skin has made me self-conscious, and it's only gotten worse since I've had a baby," says the 33-year-old actress (House of Lies, Veronica Mars). "I have definitely and happily used a body double. It's a very nice thing to be able to rely on." So why pose nude for Allure less than a year after having her baby? "I talk a big game about being comfortable no matter my size," she says. "I wanted to put my money where my mouth was."
What's your favorite body part? "I'm a big fan of buns. Buns and cakes. On anybody. Not just my own. I mean, I'm a fan of my own buns. I'm very happy with the amount that I've been given, and I often attempt to sculpt them into something more than what I've been given. But I notice other people's buns quite a bit."
Were you comfortable with your body while you were pregnant? "I was terribly frightened that I would feel like a schlub and not at all beautiful. But I've never been so comfortable with my body. When I looked in the mirror, I saw Cindy Crawford."
How did you exercise after your daughter was born? "I started doing Pilates, then I realized it wasn't as torturous as regular cardio, so I've kept it up. I'm more in shape now than I've been at other times in my life."
If there's one person you don't want to see these pictures, who is it? "I'm not concerned with anyone. I hope it's not misinterpreted, but that's too big of a problem for me to actually think about."

But now comes another revelation. “[Butts are] My favorite things on the planet," Bell tells Women’s Health in the magazine's April 2012 issue. "I want two round cupcakes, always. I kicked my buns and abs sets into high gear when I knew I’d have to be in my bra and underwear on 'House of Lies.' But I don’t show my crack! All the Mr. Skins of the world are like, “ooh, Kristen gets naked!’ I’m like, ‘Dream on!’”. The 31-year-old actress professed her admiration for "House of Lies" co-star Don Cheadle’s derriere, in particular: “If you had those beautiful chocolate bun-cakes, you’d show ’em too, let’s be honest.” Bell presumably also finds her fiancé, Dax Shepard, pretty adorable. Fortunately, the pair spent some quality time together while making the forthcoming flick "Outrun." “I would watch him walk back to the monitor and yell things such as ‘Action!’ or ‘Cut!’ and I’d just go, ‘And you expect me to work when you’re doing cute things around me all day? How am I supposed to focus?'" she told Women's Health. She also sung the praises of Shepard’s culinary skills. "He makes this delicious spaghetti dish… about twice a year," she says. "I wish he cooked more. [Actually] I don’t wish he cooked more. He’s a very good cook, but I’m quite territorial in the kitchen. It’s like, if I went outside and fixed the car, he’d be like, ‘Whaaat?’”
