When we last left Better Call Saul, Jimmy McGill — who never quite got over his brother’s death, or the shadow of his brother that hung over him — had fully transformed into Saul Goodman. We haven’t got a ton of details about where Better Call Saul will be headed in season five, though it appears that Saul will explore the relationship between Kim and Jimmy now that Jimmy is Saul. Unfortunately, fans of the series are going to have to wait for a while before the next season of Better Call Saul arrives on AMC. During an earnings call with AMC this week, we learned that the Breaking Bad spin-off will not be returning in 2019. The head of AMC, Sarah Barnett, would not offer anything else about the series, except that talent concerns drove the decision, and that Saul is closer to the end than it is the beginning. The move actually makes sense. The series has taken longer in the last two seasons than the first two seasons (seasons one and two began in February, while season 3 began in April and season 4 in August). We’re it to follow a similar schedule, it would premiere in October, which is when The Walking Dead typically debuts, so it’s probably best to hold it until either the interim between the two halves of The Walking Dead or April 2020, when The Walking Dead is wrapping up its tenth season. It also makes sense because Peter Gould and Vince Gillian typically take at least a full six months to write the season before shooting even begins, and Saul may take more finessing, particularly if it needs to work in conjunction with the Breaking Bad movie, which is expected to center on Aaron Paul’s character in a post-Breaking Bad world. That might also entail crossing paths with Gene, the future incarnation of Saul Goodman, who currently lives in Nebraska. As Better Call Saul approaches the Breaking Bad timeline, there’s also a higher degree of difficulty where it concerns the writing (and possibly more scheduling conflicts, should additional Breaking Bad characters need to be added to the mix). In either case, it’s going to be a long wait for season 5 of Better Call Saul, but if there’s one thing we know from past seasons, it’s that it will be worth it. In the meantime, Killing Eve, which will now air on both BBC America and AMC, may satiate the fix for those looking for a smart, sophisticated drama.

The show ran from 2008 until 2013, and was critically acclaimed, winning multiple Emmys and Peabody awards, as well as spawning a successful spin-off series, “Better Call Saul.”
Plamee is developing the game, and it will be published by FTX Games. Plamee is the developer behind “Narcos: Cartel Wars,” a mobile game in which players run a cartel, based on the Netflix series “Narcos,” so the developer has some experience with this sort of game. The App Store version of the game has a score of 4.7/5 as of publication time. The “Breaking Bad” mobile game will allow players to experience the complex moral decisions explored in the show, and the strategy elements will come from navigating those decisions while still running the drug operation successfully. Think like the “Rollercoaster Tycoon” series, except instead of running a successful theme park, you’re running a meth empire. Players will assume the role of an “associate” of the famous duo of Walt and Jesse, according to the press release. Popular characters Gus, Saul, and Mike will also make appearances in the mobile game.
Series creator Vince Gilligan commented on the upcoming game and his impression on how faithful the story will be to the original television series.
“We’ve had a great time working with FTX Games,” Gilligan said. “They care as much about the details as our creative team, and I have been very impressed with their commitment to building an authentic extension of the series’ story universe. think this will be a fun experience for fans, to interact with characters from ‘Breaking Bad’ in a completely new way.”
“Breaking Bad: Criminal Elements” is planned for release for Android and Apple devices sometime in 2019.

Break out the blue meth: Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is working on a two-hour movie extension of the Emmy-winning drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Details are frustratingly scarce at this point: We don’t know whether the Breaking Bad movie will be released theatrically, or air on AMC, as the series did from 2008 to 2013. We don’t know if it’s a continuation of the original series, or a prequel, or a spinoff. And we don’t know if original stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Dean Norris and others will return to reprise their roles. We do know that Gilligan will pen the script and executive-produce the film, and possibly direct it as well. The movie “will be set in the existing Breaking Bad franchise,” according to sources. The plot involves “the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom” (does that sound like Jesse Pinkman to anyone?), and production is set to begin in (where else?) New Mexico next month. Breaking Bad starred Cranston as chemistry teacher Walter White, who turned to manufacturing meth after being diagnosed with cancer. It was a critical darling and cult hit, winning a pair of Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series, along with 14 other Emmy wins. The cast of Breaking Bad reunited at this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con to celebrate the show’s tenth anniversary. The Breaking Bad universe, of course, already lives on in AMC’s prequel series Better Call Saul, which just wrapped up its fourth season last month and is already renewed for a fifth, which will air next year. Gilligan serves as a co-creator and executive producer on that series as well.

NEWS - Breaking Good!
Say it with us now, Breaking Bad fans: Yeah, bitch! Based on a clip from Tuesday’s Ellen, it seems like there’s a good chance Jesse Pinkman will show his face in the third season of Bad‘s prequel, Better Call Saul. “God, I hope so,” Bad star Aaron Paul responds when host Ellen DeGeneres asks him whether the feckless drug dealer will ever show up on the spinoff. “Maybe I already shot it. We just — or they just — wrapped the [latest] season.” Because Saul mostly takes place before the events of Breaking Bad, Pinkman — who was recently out of high school in the original series — might be too young to show up anywhere except for the series’ flashforwards, where Saul is known as “Gene” and is working at a Cinnabon. And if that’s true, then we’ll get an update on what happened after Jesse chose not to kill his mentor/tormentor Walter White and then escaped the meth lab where he was being held against his will. If Jesse surfaces on the series, he’ll join several other Bad characters who’ve made Saul appearances, including Tuco (Raymond Cruz), Hector (Mark Margolis), Krazy-8 (Max Arciniega) and the recently announced Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), who’ll grace the upcoming third season.

GOSSIP - Shameless, Supernatural o coniglietto?
Articolo tratto dall'Huffington Post
"Supernatural" actor Jared Padalecki caused a stir when he tweeted that Philip Seymour Hoffman's death was "stupid" and "senseless" as opposed to sad.
Hoffman, 46, was found dead on the bathroom floor of his New York City apartment Sunday (Feb. 2) of an apparent drug overdose, law enforcement sources told CNN. He was reportedly found with a needle in his arm and empty glassine-type bags, typically used to hold heroin.
After news of the Oscar winner's death broke, celebrities like Ricky Gervais, Aaron Paul, Jim Carrey and Mia Farrow tweeted their condolences for the beloved actor. But Padalecki had a different take on Hoffman's tragic passing.
"'Sad' isn't the word I'd use to describe a 46-year-old man throwing his life away to drugs. 'Senseless' is more like it. 'Stupid,'" he wrote in the since-deleted tweet, according to Jezebel.
After some pushback, Padalecki clarified his stance.
Hoffman's drug addiction dated back to his early twenties. In 2006, he told CBS he entered rehab when he was just 22 years old because he feared for his life.
"I have so much empathy for these young actors that are 19 and all of a sudden they're beautiful and famous and rich," he told CBS. "I'm like, 'Oh my God. I'd be dead.' You know what I mean? I'd be 19, beautiful, famous and rich. That would be it," he told Steve Kroft. "I think back at that time. I think if I had the money, that kind of money and stuff. So, yeah [I would have died]."
Last May, Hoffman checked into a drug detox facility for 10 days after falling off the wagon. A year prior to that, he began using prescription drugs and eventually turned to using heroin.
He is survived by his longtime partner, Mimi O'Donnell, and his three children: Tallulah, 7; Willa, 5; and Cooper, 10.

I didnt mean PSH is stupid or that addiction isnt a reality. I simply meant I have a different definition of "tragedy".

L'EDICOLA DI LOU - Stralci, cover e commenti sui telefilm dai media italiani e stranieri
DETAILSAaron Paul, "dopo Breaking Bad voglio essere anche nello spin-off!"
Aaron Paul looks cool on the cover of Details magazine’s February 2014 issue.
Here’s what the 34-year-old actor had to share with the mag:
On meeting his wife Lauren Parsekian at Coachella: “Not on drugs…normally, I drink a lot at those festivals. But we were just so distracted with the high that was happening between us. It’s unexplainable. I told her that night I was going to marry her. I did. I told her that. I knew what she was all about. I mean, come on, she runs an anti-bullying nonprofit called Kind Campaign.”
On Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spinoff: “Both Bryan [Cranston] and I want to be a part of that. If they’ll have us.”On pleading for his character Jesse on Breaking Bad: “I wrote an e-mail to Vince before we started shooting the final eight episodes—a plea for Jesse, a love letter. I never give my two cents when it comes to Breaking Bad, because why would I? I’m just the actor, and what they’re doing is perfect, you know? But I just felt like I would always regret it if I didn’t at least throw them a pitch on how I wanted Jesse to go out. So I gave a few different ideas of how I thought he would kill himself. I didn’t want anybody else taking his life. The letter was awful. It was very morbid, and I’m so happy they didn’t listen. I’d rather Jesse just kind of ride off into the sunset like he did.”

PICCOLO GRANDE SCHERMO - Aaron Paul di "Breaking Bad" nel nuovo film di Muccino (con Russell Crowe e Amanda Seyfried)
Notizia tratta da "Variety"
Aaron Paul is looking to reteam with his “Big Love” co-star as he has signed on to star alongside Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried in the Voltage Prods. drama “Fathers and Daughters.”
Gabriele Muccino is directing. Story follows a father and daughter living 25 years apart in New York City. Crowe will portray a famous novelist and widower struggling with mental illness as he tries to raise his 5-year-old daughter. Seyfried will portray the now-grown daughter in present-day Manhattan as she battles the aftermath of her troubled childhood.
Brad Desch wrote the original script, which was featured on the Black List. Crowe and Keith Rodger will also exec produce via their Fear of God production shingle, along with Romilda De Luca.
Paul is playing Seyfried’s love interest, and the role should come naturally given that he played a comparable part on HBO’s “Big Love.”
With his hit show “Breaking Bad” at an end, the UTA and Leverage Entertainment-repped Paul already looks prepared to make the leap to features. He can be seen next in DreamWorks’ “Need for Speed” and is currently filming Fox’s Moses pic “Exodus.”

NEWS - Ultima ora!
As AMC‘s Breaking Bad is heading into its final eight-episode run this summer, the network and series producer Sony TV are exploring keeping the franchise alive with a spinoff series centered on one of Breaking Bad‘s most recognizable supporting characters, Bob Odenkirk‘s unflappable criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. There are no deals in place yet as the project is in its nascent stages, but I hear it is being conceived by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and series writer-producer Peter Gould, who created the Saul character together for a Season 2 episode written by Gould. In the episode, titled “Better Call Saul“, Walt (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse (Aaron Paul) hire the flamboyant Goodman after Badger (Matt L. Jones) is caught by the DEA. Goodman, who has been a regular presence on the show since, is a sleazy but highly competent criminal lawyer with a penchant for over-the-top TV commercials in which he uses his signature tagline “Better Call Saul!” Saul has served as Breaking Bad‘s comic relief, which is not surprising given Odenkirk’s strong comedy background. As a result, I hear the potential spinoff is eyed as a comedy, which could be one-hour, but a half-hour format also is being explored.
The idea for the potential spinoff had been gestating for awhile, with Gilligan mentioning it hypothetically in the past. “I would love to see a Saul Goodman spinoff,” he said in a July 2012 interview. “I like the idea of a lawyer show in which the main lawyer will do anything it takes to stay out of a court of law. He’ll settle on the courthouse steps, whatever it takes to stay out of the courtroom. That would be fun — I would like that.”

All Hail the
Walter White
ritorna sulla Amc, per la quinta,
attesissima stagione di Breaking Bad, Stracult
indiscusso della settimana. Freschi dalle recenti nomination agli Emmy come
altissimi livelli. Pochi show possono vantare le stesse caratteristiche e
In una serie tv o in un
film, gli accadimenti possono avvenire in maniera molto concitata, volta
all’azione, o, viceversa, in maniera molto lenta e scandita, ma solitamente a
