Some Twitter aren’t happy that some Glee stars have chosen to keep quiet as the search remains for Naya Rivera, who went missing last week after a lake trip in California.
Now, Amber RileyKevin McHale, and more have spoken out about why they chose to be silent while others have sent prayers and other comments about Naya.
“I haven’t seen not one of the GLEE CAST MEMBERS POST ABT NAYA EXCEPT FOR @HeatherMorrisTV AND @dotmariejones y’all a need to do better @LeaMichele @JennaUshkowitz @chriscolfer,” one Twitter user wrote, sparking the conversation of why they didn’t. Amber was one of the first to clap back at her own reason – because it’s not about her. It’s about Naya. “Show some respect. All our energy is going toward helping find Naya and praying for her safe return and for her family. No one owes anyone online a performance of grief,” she wrote. “This is very real and devastating. Focus on Naya and her family. Not us. We don’t matter right now.”
Fans also came to Chris Colfer‘s defense, who hadn’t posted anything about Naya’s disappearnce. One wrote, “I just want to tell you that you don’t owe us anything, we love you and we’re here to support you and your friends who are going through so much pain right now, I’m sorry if there are people who have made you feel like you can’t grieve at peace, we love you ❤” Years ago, Chris also opened up about how he personally mourned losing Cory Monteith, who passed away seven years ago tomorrow, and his statement is just as relevant right now.
Lea Michele has deactivated her Twitter account as of the time of this posting.
Her usual handle, @leamichele, now shows a deactivated account page with none of her previous tweets listed.
Fans are beginning to theorize why Lea may have made this move. It has been a tough couple of months for Lea after she was involved in a big controversy over her alleged on set behavior.
Lea‘s Glee co-star, Naya Rivera, has also been missing for several days after boating with her son Josey, 4, at Lake Piru in California.
In addition, Monday (July 13) is the anniversary of Lea‘s boyfriend Cory Monteith‘s tragic death back in 2013. His cause of death was later revealed to be due to heroin and alcohol.

NEWS - Maledizione "Glee"!

Cory Monteith‘s mom, Ann McGregor, is speaking about painfully hearing that her son had passed away in July of 2013. At the time, Cory had been dating his Glee co-star Lea Michele, and Ann says Lea called her “screaming” to ask her about the tragic news. “I got a call from Lea and she was screaming on the phone. She was yelling, ‘Is it true, is it true about Cory?’ and I said, ‘What about Cory?’ I had heard nothing. And then police knocked on my front door,” Ann recalled to People. “I went into a state of numbness. I just shut off all emotions, and I was numb.” “I knew it was real, but there were times when I could lie to myself and say, ‘He’s in L.A., he’ll call me soon.’ I’m still always hanging on edge. When you lose someone who is such a big part of you, you lose all purpose for living,” Ann added. Cory‘s mom spoke further about his tragic death, including what happened just before he died that may have contributed. If you don’t know, his cause of death was officially listed him as having “mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol.”

GOSSIP - Troppa Naya fa male!
Naya Rivera is dishing on all the behind-the-scenes drama from her time Glee. The 29-year-old actress talks candidly about her “feud” with co-star Lea Michele in her new book Sorry, Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes & Growing Up.
“One of the Glee writers once said that Lea and I were like two sides of the same battery and that about sums us up,” Naya wrote. “We are both strong willed and competitive — not just with each other but with everyone — and that’s not a good mixture.”
Naya continued, “As the show progressed, though, that friendship started to break down, especially as Santana moved from a background character to one with bigger plot lines and more screen time. I think Rachel — erm, I mean Lea — didn’t like sharing the spotlight. On top of that, she had a hard time separating work from our outside friendship, whereas it was a lot easier for me. I’m not offended when people offer feedback or criticism, and if things get heated on set, I try to keep perspective. We’re all stressed, yes, but we’re all working toward the same goal, so laugh it off and keep it movin’. Lea was a lot more sensitive, though, and it seemed like she blamed me for anything and everything that went wrong.”
“If I’d complained about anyone or anything, she’d assumed I was b-tching about her,” Naya wrote. “Soon, she started to ignore me, and eventually it got to the point where she didn’t say a word to me for all of season six. Lea and I definitely weren’t the best of friends, and I doubt we’ll ever sit on her couch and eat kale together again, but the rumors of our ‘feud’ were blown out of proportion”. As for
Lea‘s relationship with Cory Monteith, Naya wrote, “When Cory and Lea started dating, it was a total surprise. The more serious they got, the less Cory hung out with us and the more he seemed like a different person. One year he came back from the break between seasons super skinny. He said he’d been spending a lot of time at the gym and was trying to be responsible — not spending money all the time and buying crazy cars like he used to. My personal feelings for Lea aside, I knew that she wasn’t a partier, so I felt like maybe their relationship could actually be good for him. I was happy for Cory to have a stable influence in his life, wherever it was he found it”.

Lea Michele and her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz look super cute together in these newly released photos taken last week in Los Angeles. This is the first sighting of the new couple out and about together since their relationship was reported back in early June. The couple was seen out and about twice that day – once in the morning on a hike together and then later in the day taking a stroll in the park after washing up from their workout. He then spent the rest of the weekend at Lea‘s house and even used her car to run errands Lea! and Matthew met on the set of the music video for her song “On My Way.” He was one of the backup dancers and love interest for her in the video.

GOSSIP/L'EDICOLA DI LOU - E' uno scandaLea!

Article by Mary HK Choi for "V"
The first thing I notice about Lea Michele is that she has perfect eyebrows. They are strong, angular, and likely shaped for the day, since we’re meeting on the set of her music video shoot for the first single “Cannonball,” off her debut album, Louder. The tea-cup petite singer is taking a lunch break, a delectable-looking mélange of cubed tofu and tangled kale with a smattering of quinoa set before her. Glee’s leading glamour gal tells me she’s a vegetarian most of the time (“I eat fish occasionally”). Her bright eyes and springy skin attest to it—or maybe she just has dynamite genes.

The 27-year-old was born in the Bronx to a Turkish father, who was famous for bringing heros from his deli to the Spring Awakening set for cast mates when she was on Broadway, and an Italian-American mother. Complementing her Mediterranean good looks today are blunt, shiny bangs, and she is wearing a short, white cotton slip with Uggs, uncomely yet comfortable footwear, perfect for someone in need of an on-set shoe. Lea is kicking them off beneath the coffee table with nonchalance. Not that the star hasn’t earned the right to put her pedicured feet up for a minute.

Michele has been going full throttle for the release of Louder, slated for March fourth (as in, “march forth,” she says). It’s an 11-song distillation of a woman who took the time to find her voice. “I started working with Anne Preven, Felicia Barton, and Bonnie McKee right out of the gate, and we came up with some great, awesome pop songs,” she says. “But closer to the beginning of this year—four or five months into making the album—the label was like, “This is great, but we need more of you in here. You sound like you’re singing awesome songs that are similar to Katy or Kelly. We need more Lea Michele.”

So back to the studio she went, this time with a lot more on her mind. “My album was completed in June. We had 12 songs. And then my boyfriend passed away, in July. [The singer’s Glee costar and long-term boyfriend, Cory Monteith, died from a drug overdose, a passing for which nobody was prepared, least of all Lea Michele.] So I met with Sia [Furler], because she’s a friend and because we were thinking, Do we want to add anything to the record now? And we wrote ‘If You Say So,’ on the same day she played me ‘Cannonball.’”

If You Say So” is a cathartic tribute to her lost love. “It’s the only song that no one’s heard,” says Michele. “I can’t talk about it until people hear it. I just feel like people should hear it and I don’t know if I’m ever going to talk about it. It’s just one of those things where I understand what it means and you can take it or leave it. That song is for me.”

Alternatively, Furler’s song, “Cannonball,” is an earwormy number that Michele can’t get enough of, and neither can anyone else, apparently. “That’s what everyone tells me,” says Michele with a laugh. “Everybody’s like, Fuck you, I can’t stop singing it! My friends call me just singing ‘Cannonball! Cannonball!’ What’s crazy is that I can’t stop listening to it either. Since the minute Sia played me this song it’s been my personal anthem. It’s helped me so much. I still listen to it. If I’m having a down moment, I will play this song.”

While the lyrics are telling (“I let go of fear and the peace came quickly / Freedom / I was in the dark and then it hit me / I chose suffering and pain in the falling rain / I know, I gotta get out into the world again”), there’s a positive triumph-over-anguish message to be discerned amid the fist-pumping beats. And, with this tune in particular, Michele knows exactly to whom she is singing: girls and gays. “I’ve managed to have a wide range of fans,” she says, “but if ‘Cannonball’ isn’t playing at the Abbey in West Hollywood, I will go there and I will play it. Those are my people.”

Which just goes to show that while she may project a Goody Two-shoes persona, she’s also not afraid to dole out a bit of sass, as further evidenced by the photos seen here. “My friends call me Grandma, but, like, Grandma’s killing it right now,” she says. “I’m pretty sure Grandma nailed it in a half-naked Terry Richardson shoot, okay? So I’m fine with it. I just do my thing. I do what’s best for me. That’s it.

Following a screening and Q&A with reporters promoting FX's American Horror Story: Coven, Murphy shared that the episode -- titled "The Quarterback" in a nod to former football star Finn Hudson -- was "incredibly difficult to work on" and "very difficult to shoot."
"The episode is called 'The Quarterback,' and Cory really was that to that group of people -- and to me particularly," said Murphy, who locked the episode Thursday. "That group of kids particularly went through the limelight and became world famous at a very difficult age, and many of them really struggled with it."

"Cory obviously very much struggled with it, but never on the surface, and I think that's why everybody loved him," he added. "He was the most kind, the most generous -- never a bad word for anybody."
Monteith was found dead on July 13 at the age of 31. An autopsy revealed that the actor had died of mixed drug toxicity from a combination of intravenous heroin use and alcohol.
Monteith's Finn Hudson was edited out of the first two episodes of Glee's fifth season. The tribute episode will air Oct. 10, following which the Fox musical will take a hiatus for baseball that series creators will use to map out the show's future without one of its central stars.
"What you will see in the episode is what really happened," Murphy said of the hour. "Brad [Falchuk] and Ian [Brennan] and I wrote that episode and Brad directed it, and those performances that you'll see, almost everything in that episode is from the first take of every performance because the actors and the crew had a really hard time shooting it."

"I've never seen a crew that you can't continue shooting because they've left the room sobbing. It was very hard. I struggled even working on it because what you're seeing is what they felt not just about Finn but Cory. It's amazing performances across the board and everybody went into it with a lot of love," he continued. "What I loved about it is when you write something like that, there's no right way to do it."
Murphy also noted that he received an outpouring of calls from former cast members asking to appear in the episode who weren't under contract, including Iqbal Theba (Principal Figgins).
"It was very rough, and it was very rough with [Monteith's girlfriend] Lea [Michele]," Murphy added. "I'm very proud of it. I think the performances are quite stunning. It was tricky. You had to have a hard eye when you were putting it together. People still are not over it and it's still very difficult."

L'EDICOLA DI LOU - Stralci, cover e commenti sui telefilm dai media italiani e stranieri

VULTURE
"Regardless of the cause, Cory Monteith’s death is a tragic one. He was young and talented — a gifted drummer, an awkward-as-hell dancer, and a reliable nailer of power ballads. And he was Finn Hudson, Glee’s main testament to the life-changing power of music, arguably the show’s primary message.
The loss of Finn alters the show’s landscape permanently and irrevocably. There’s a part of me that thinks, “Is it too soon to consider what the show will look like now that he’s gone?” But as Vulture’s Glee recapper for the past two seasons, I think that considering the question is a respectful act; it speaks to his invaluable contribution. And Glee’s cast and creative team don’t have the luxury of declaring it too soon to move forward; filming on season five is currently scheduled to begin in a week or so, and the writers have been at work for a while now. While Ryan Murphy hasn’t said much publicly about what this year holds, he negotiated a two-season renewal for Glee last spring, and consensus is that he wouldn’t have been able to do so without some sort of master plan (or at the very least, a general sense) of how this next chunk of story plays out.
This isn’t a reshuffling of the deck, then. It’s 52 Pickup. Whenever Glee has been at a loss for story in the past, it’s circled back to three key relationships: Kurt and Blaine, Brittany and Santana, and Finn and Rachel. Monteith’s death and Heather Morris’s departure further destabilize a show already on shaky ground as it struggles to take on a more mature tone following the graduation of several of its main characters from high school. Deftly tackling the narrative challenge of Finn’s departure from the show seems an almost impossible task. If the season begins with Finn glibly written out (“Oh, he moved to L.A. with Mercedes!”), it will be criticized for insensitivity; if Finn’s storyline mirrors Monteith’s passing more closely, it will be criticized for exploitation.
Glee has always encouraged viewers to suspend disbelief when it comes to the fact that its main cast is a bunch of 20-something-year-old adults pretending to be teens. They’ve done this by emphasizing the characters rather than the actors (consider, for example, the fact that the entire cast did a world tour completely in character) and by near-obsessive control of the cast’s collective public image.
Sure, there have been drunk appearances at award shows and magazine spreads of questionable taste, but for a cast of late Millennials (Monteith was 31), heady on fame or something close to it for the first time, they come off as reasonably wholesome. Even Monteith’s own stint in rehab this spring was spun by the powers that be at Glee not as a scandal, but as a responsible choice by someone taking control of his own well-being (and rightly so). Glee’s promise of youth and escape is seen clearly in its return to Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” in multiple episodes, almost as an anthem. “You and I,” Glee promises, “We’ll be young forever.”
That image of squeaky-clean youth is shattered now, and that seems irreversible. Glee works as escapist television, and it almost always flounders when it tries to be something bigger. Season four’s misbegotten school shooting, prostate cancer, teen molestation, and eating disorder storylines – all either insensitively handled or dropped without explanation – are undeniable proof of that.
Monteith’s final performance on Glee was a reprise of “Don’t Stop Believin',” the same song that closed the pilot. It’s just a coincidence, although it’s hard not to lend it more significance than it perhaps deserves. Either way, Cory Monteith’s death means it will be a little harder to believe in Glee from now on". (Lauren Hoffman, 14.07.2013)

"Glee" star Lea Michele is in love… with her shoes! The actress, 25, appears in Candie’s latest back-to-school ad campaign for junior’s clothing label and is seen lusting after a pair of footwear. Starring in a series of print and TV ads, the brunette beauty spots shoes in the window of Kohl’s, only to find her affections returned by an oggling (and hot!) sales boy. “The idea behind the commercial is very cute,” Michele said in a statement. “I’m walking down the street, pass by a Kohl’s store and this amazing pair of Candie’s shoes in the window catch my eye.” “Well, there just so happens to be a stock boy working in the window, and while I’m staring at the shoes, falling in love with them, he thinks I’m looking and falling in love with him, but girls love their shoes so…” she says. The Glee gal is the latest to top a long list of celebrities who have lent their star power to the label, including Britney Spears, Jenny McCarthy and Hayden Panettiere.
Up next, Michele has another hit season of Glee. Season three of the show wrapped with Rachel hoping to move to New York alongside Chris Colfer‘s character Kurt Hummel in pursuit of their musical theater dreams. Finn, played by Michele’s on and off screen beau Cory Monteith, is also reportedly set to join the duo as they take on the Big Apple.

Articolo tratto da "The Hollywood Reporter"
When Fox announced this month that 100 percent of the net proceeds from Glee’s cover of 1984’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas” would go to The Band Aid Trust and support the same organization the track benefited more than 20 years ago, it was just the latest positive note in the show’s history. In its three years, Glee – and its growing cast – has supported a plethora of charities, most recently providing $1 million in donations to support music education through its Glee Give A Note campaign, which saw schools in Ohio, New York and Alabama each receive $50,000 in grand prize cash. Created by the network, Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy and the National Association of Music Education, the Give A Note campaign uses funds raised through the show’s DVD and Blu-ray sales to support struggling arts education programs across the country and, through its Web site, encourages fans of the series to do the same.
“Many of the actors on the show are the direct result of arts education programs, and speaking for myself, I would not be where I am today without these programs,” says Matthew Morrison, who plays New Directions coach Will Schuester.
In addition to the show’s efforts, several of its cast members have devoted time and energy to charities outside of the show – including Morrison, who’s involved with the Grammy Foundation, which works to promote the importance and impact of music and arts education and music preservation.
“The Grammy Foundation’s programs in schools across the country are so important because with budget cuts these days, arts programs are often the first ones to be axed,” he says. “These programs are critical for children’s education and development, and that’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about this charity”.
Glee’s massive online popularity -- the show has more than 17 million Facebook fans and nearly 1.1 million Twitter followers, not to mention the hundreds of thousands the cast have – also has a ripple affect on the various charities the cast backs.
Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang) and Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang), back causes that strike a particular chord for them.
Ushkowitz, who grew up wanting to be a marine biologist, is a big supporter of Oceana, an international group working to protect the world’s oceans and says the show’s massive fan base helps to spread the word about the various organizations.
“I can thank social media – Twitter – and all our fans and followers for spreading the word and making people aware,” she says. “Our dedicated fans are our future so it’s incredibly important that they are the ones informing one another and doing anything to make a difference.”
Best known for his dancing, Shum is involved with three charities: Drea’s Dream, Invisible Children and Do Something, which help children with cancer and special needs through the power of dance; ending the use of child soldiers in Northern Uganda; and an online group looking to mobilize teens.
“We have some of the best fans, they’re so supportive of not only the show but charities we are involved with,” he says. “It means a lot to me because through social media I am able to raise awareness and introduce to people in a way they can be involved”.
For Mike O’Malley, who plays Burt Hummel -- aka the world’s most perfect father -- supporting his hometown plays a big role in his charitable considerations. He's donated large sums of his own money to a score of charities in his hometown of Nashua, N.H., including Marguerite’s Place and the Nashua Children’s Home, in addition to setting up two scholarships for his former theater professors at the University of New Hampshire, and a pair of foundations through Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox.
“I give to my hometown charities because I feel strongly that my town and the people there had a lot to do with who I am,” says the actor, who has donated more than $100,000 to the Adult Learning Center where his mother worked. “I want to give back to the place where I was raised even though I don’t get back there as much as I can”.
Mark Salling (Noah Puckerman) backs a pair of organizations: the Wildlife Care of Ventura County, a nonprofit volunteer group that rehabilitates native wildlife; and Child Hunger Ends Here, which turns UPC codes from ConAgra Foods products into meals for the more than 17 million kids who don’t get a proper meal every day.
“It’s the holiday season and a time for giving and it’s a really easy way for people to help out with a domestic issue like child hunger,” Salling says.
Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) serves as an ambassador for Virgin Unite, a nonprofit that helps connect people with the right ideas for social change with others with greater resources in order to foster change.
A PETA spokeswoman, Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) is one of the many cast members active with gay-rights groups, as is Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams), who works with the Trevor Project’s Talk to Me campaign, which aims to prevent suicide among LGBT youth.
Max Adler, who plays Kurt’s reformed bully Dave Karofsky, is active with City Hearts’ Anti-Bullying initiative, most recently helping sixth graders in Los Angeles stage an anti-bullying play.
Jane Lynch has been a longtime supporter of the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, recently earning the facility’s Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award for her contributions.
And there are others. The cast -- which includes Chris Colfer (Kurt), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Jayma Mays (Emma Pillsbury) and Darren Criss (Blaine) – are regulars at fundraisers, lending their time for projects including Education Through Music, the Alzheimer’s Association’s The Elephant Project and The Trevor Project, among countless others.
And while the show’s fandom has helped support the individual charities the cast holds dear, it’s the show’s arts education message that ultimately benefits the most.
Glee has brought a renewed focus on music education in the schools and overall arts education,” Morrison says. “Glee clubs have literally sprouted up across the country, and as parents and communities have seen the joy it brings to students, this has encouraged support for these programs and helped prevent funding cuts”.
