NEWS - Clamoroso al Cibali! Quella "stronza" di Krysten Ritter sarà Jessica Jones per Netflix! Battuta la concorrenza di Teresa Palmer e Alexandra Daddario
News tratta da Deadline.com
Marvel is mum as usual, but I hear they have tapped Krysten Ritter for the lead in the company’s straight-to-series drama Jessica Jones. Ritter was one of five actresses who tested for the role. I hear it came down to her and Teresa Palmer, with both doing chemistry reads with The Following‘s Mike Colter, believed to be the choice for male lead Luke Cage.
Spearheaded by Melissa Rosenberg, the 13-episode drama — the second in a four-series Netflix-Marvel deal — centers on Jessica Jones, a superhero suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, which leads to her hanging up her costume and opening her own detective agency, where she ends up helping people and assisting other superheroes.
Ritter comes from a similar comedy background as Chris Pratt, the star of the latest Marvel hit superhero franchise, Guardians Of The Galaxy. While she recently did several comedy pilots and series, including cult ABC show Don’t Trust The B—-, Ritter also had a role on the dark AMC drama Breaking Bad. She will next be seen in Tim Burton’s Big Eyes. Ritter is repped by WME, Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management and manager Kyle Luker as well as attorney Dave Feldman.
Ritter won over other actresses invited to test for the lead of the company’s straight-to-series drama Jessica Jones for Netflix. It includes Alexandra Daddario, Teresa Palmer and Jessica De Gouw.
GOSSIP - Oh my GOT!
Kit Harington shows off his gorgeous locks on the cover of British GQ‘s January 2015 issue.
Here’s what the 27-year-old Game of Thrones actor had to share with the mag:
On not being allowed to cut his hair for the show: “I’m more recognizable in public than much better-known actors. So many people watch, and I go around looking like my character.”
On his ‘resting face’: “I’d get people coming up to me in the street and asking if I was OK. But this is my default. I laugh, I make jokes, I just happen to reside in this face.”
On actors:They’re all narcissists. Every single one, I promise you. To have that verve, to get up and want to be watched. It comes from a place – either you were denied that attention as a child, or you were given lots of it and want more. Which is where I land.”
On Game of Thrones:Game Of Thrones is my life, it’s my day job, I love it. But honestly, if there is a curse of Thrones, it’s a lifetime of having to talk about it.”

L'EDICOLA DI LOU - Stralci, cover e commenti sui telefilm dai media italiani e stranieri

According to a new study conducted by the research and consulting firm Centris Marketing Science, Netflix’s original series, led by Orange is the New Black, experienced a marked surge in viewership during the third quarter. According to the study, 72 percent of subscribers in the United States said that they watched at least some of Netflix’s original programming. The study doesn’t indicate how much or what shows that subscribers watched, but it did report that 57 percent of subscribers find the original content to be an important reason why they are Netflix subscribers.
Buoyed, perhaps, by this news, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings also signalled the death of broadcast networks, comparing it to the horse before the car:
“It’s kind of like the horse, you know, the horse was good until we had the car,” he said. “The age of broadcast TV will probably last until 2030.”
Hastings is also nonplussed by Nielsen’s plans to measure Netflix viewing based on the audio heard by Nielsen meters in Nielsen homes. Hastings claims those measurements won’t be very relevant because they will not measure viewing on tablets and other mobile devices.
Meanwhile, while viewers across all demos are sampling more and more original content, expect viewers above the age of 60 — the median age for a Longmire viewer — to sample even more now that Netflix is bringing the fourth season of Longmire to its service. Niche comedy fans will probably also turn out in droves from the Tina Fey comedy The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, the sitcom Netflix recently took over from NBC.

NEWS - Più Arance per tutti! "Orange Is The New Black" provoca imitazioni e parodie (in attesa di quella...porno) - (VIDEO)
Jessa Zarubica (It’s not Porn…it’s HBO) and Issa Rae (Awkward Black Girl) star in Orange is the New Black And Sexy, a satire on the popular Netflix series Orange is the New Black. The parody pokes fun at Piper (Zarubica) as she becomes enchanted by the black prison clique led by Taystee (Issa Rae) and experiences her own metamorphosis. Other current cultural trends (Miley Cyrus, Julianna Hough) are referenced while paying homage to the hit series in this hysterical mash up.
Orange is the New Black And Sexy is a BlackAndSexy. TV and Dayna Lynne North/Loud Sista Production, co directed by Dennis Dortch and Numa Perrier.
