"The Americans", lezione di etica politica sotto l'effetto Trump
(Aldo Grasso)

NEWS - Welcome back! Il promo del ritorno di "Will&Grace"!

News tratta da "Uproxx"
There’s never been a more inviting time to take a show out of suspended animation and give it the “revival” treatment. Among the latest crop of television programs returning after a long-ass hiatus is the new go-around of the sitcom Will & Grace. Going off of the promo dropped on the 4th of July, it feels like we’re in for a total throwback. The promo, which we have nestled above because we believe in patriotic video releases, has the core four (Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally) smiling and doing the ol’ slow motion hug treatment. Essentially, it looks like the sort of commercial you’d see during Will & Grace‘s Must See TV heyday. Look! There’s playful poses by names, Karen slapping Jack and some supportive grimacing (I think?) as Grace dances with glee. You could have sandwiched this slice of video between a 15 second spot for Inside Schwartz and a 30 second clip for Good Morning Miami and I would be none the wiser. If this bonus run is about a ritual slaughter cult it sure as sugar isn’t tipping its hand in advance. Will & Grace, which initially waved goodbye in 2006, will return for a 12-episode run for the 2017-18 season. The debut episode for this limited series engagement is set to premiere on September 28.
GOSSIP - Lucy Lawless, in vacanza a Lucca, fuori di...Xena! "Italiani, non fate i terroristi!" (forse intendeva razzisti...)

News tratta da Repubblica.it
E a urlare 'Gabon'.

GOSSIP - Game of Blows!

News tratta da "Complex"+"The Sunday Times"
Even for a nude-friendly network like HBO, the sex scenes on Game of Thrones are plentiful. There are entire plot lines revolving around relationships with prostitutes, and the consequences of the sexuality of powerful men. So if the show opened up your eyes a little bit, you're probably not the only one. In fact, you happen to share that trait with a member of the Game of Thrones cast! When Sophie Turner began preparing for her role as Sansa Stark, she was still a young teenager finding her way through the world. Now 21 years old and mainstay in the Game of Thrones universe, she can admit just how naive she was when she started. “I’d be doing a read-through and we’d be talking about very graphic stuff. The first time I ever found out about oral sex was from reading the script," she told The Sunday Times. "I was like … ‘Wow! People do that? That’s fascinating!' I guess that was my sex education. Being on Game of Thrones.” That doesn't mean she stayed naive for long. Being a star on the biggest show on cable put her alongside some beloved characters of both sexes, and she claims once her friends saw her on screen with some good-looking co-stars, they immediately asked her to set them up. “I felt like a pimp," she says of showing off her friends to her male counterparts. But she says it wasn't until she got older and was no longer seen as the "little sister" of the group that they started paying any attention to her and her friends. Turner also opened up about the subject of sexual assault, which has appeared frequently on screen in Game of Thrones and has been a subject of intense debate among viewers. Her character was a victim of sexual assault on the show, and while she says she pondered whether it was right to show after blow back from fans, ultimately she feels it's important to keep the conversation going. “The more we talk about sexual assault the better, and screw the people who are saying we shouldn’t be putting this on TV and screw the people who are saying they’re going to boycott the show because of it," she said. "This sort of thing used to happen and it continues to happen now, and if we treat it as such a taboo and precious subject, then how are people going to have the strength to come out and feel comfortable saying that this has happened to them?” For someone who had to go through such a public coming-of-age, that's a remarkably mature view of the whole thing. Even if she had a lot to learn when she first arrived on set, Turner sounds like she has learned a lot about herself and how she views the world since she started filming Game of Thronesso maybe it shouldn't be a surprise that her character has transformed into a genuine badass.

Your night doesn’t have to be dark and full of terrors anymore. There’s a Game Of Thrones Pop Up Bar in Washington, DC where you can while away the hot summer nights with stiff drinks, Iron thrones, dragons, and plenty of poisoning and inscest. (Okay, maybe not the last two.) To celebrate the new season of Game Of Thrones (finally) arriving this July, the genius behind the Drinks Company — formerly of the Super Mario Bros. and Stranger Things pop up bars — have given us not one, but three massive bars paying loving homage to all things Westeros and Essos. This GIF sums up our feelings on the matter fairly succinctly. Brace yourself because it gets better. The bar features a deep cocktail list and everything is show-themed. Bar manager Paul Taylor explained, “We began by thinking about what these fictional characters from Game of Thrones would drink, what cocktails would epitomize them and what moments should be represented.” The menu highlights include a simple mix of tequila and grapefruit named Shame, a milk punch variation called Milk Of The Poppy, a Scotch-based delight called The North Remembers, and a daiquiri take named after the Dothraki … The Dothraquiri. The bar serves Ommegang’s new Bend The Knee on tap, in case cocktails aren’t your thing. There’s a small wine list to round out the bar menu with a Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Brut Rose, and a Hopvine Cider. Drinks Company CEO Angie Fetherston knows the deep love the world has for the flagship HBO series and that’s a driving force behind their latest choice. “The three-eyed raven picked us,” Fetherston declared on their website. She continues,”This PUB is our love letter to the Seven Kingdoms and we cannot wait to share it with fellow fans.” This may be the year to take your summer vacation to Washington, DC.  The bar is situated in a 3,000 square foot space in Northwest DC. It’s divided into several areas of the Seven Kingdoms. Specifically the North, the Red Keep, Mereen, the House of Black and White, and the Throne Room where you can don a massive fur jacket and mount the throne to make all your Insta-dreams come true. Well…getting drunk and taking selfies on the Iron Throne does sound like a good way to spend an evening.
