L'EDICOLA DI LOU - Stralci, cover e commenti sui telefilm dai media italiani

News tratta da "The Hollywood Reporter"
Lea Michele has booked her next act.
The Glee and Scream Queens favorite has joined the cast of ABC's untitled city mayor comedy pilot, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
From ABC Studios and Hamilton's Daveed Diggs, the project explores what happens when an outspoken, idealistic rapper named Courtney (Search Party's Brandon Micheal Hall) runs for office as a publicity stunt. When he actually gets elected, he surprises everyone (including himself) when he has a natural knack for the job and slowly transforms City Hall.
Details on the role Michele will play were not immediately available as the part is being adjusted to specifically accommodate the actress. The character originally was planned to be Courtney's chief of staff. It's unclear if that will remain as the part continues to shift with Michele's commitment to the project. The ABC comedy marks her first pilot since Fox's Glee and first series-regular role outside of the Ryan Murphy universe. For Michele, meanwhile, this marks her follow-up to Fox's Scream QueensThe horror-comedy anthology from executive producer Murphy remains on the bubble and awaits word on its third season. Sources say Murphy released Michele from her deal for Scream Queens. Her casting does not have any bearing on if the series returns. Instead, it means her character of Hester is not going to be returning for a potential third season.
Jeremy Bronson (Speechless) will pen the script and exec produce the ABC Studios comedy alongside Diggs, Jamie Tarses, Scott Stuber and James Griffiths, with the latter set to direct the single-camera comedy.

Keke Palmer looks gorgeous as she flashes a smile on the cover of Galore‘s latest issues, on stands now. Here’s what the 23-year-old Scream Queens actress had to share with the mag:
On what advice she’d give younger girls: “I just feel like it’s so much easier to allow life to change you instead of you trying to fit yourself into your ideas of life. Life is a surprising thing to experience and it’s beautiful because it’s filled with mystery and magic…real magic that I’ve seen with my own eyes! I guess my biggest tip would be not to label yourself. When you label yourself unconsciously, because that’s what society does, you don’t realize how much you’re limiting yourself.”
On what she missed because she grew up in the entertainment industry: “I never had a real high school experience. My only idea of it is from watching TV shows, but I think I would’ve liked to have experienced that. I still had those types of dynamics, but maybe I wasn’t in the backdrop of a school, I was in the backdrop of a set.”
On whether she feels the responsibility to speak out on important issues: “I don’t feel pressure to speak up on issues of my culture but I do hate the emphasis my generation (me included) puts on social media in terms of creating changes within our world. To me, the importance has got to start being less about how many posts we’ve put up on the issues and more about what we are doing in the REAL world to create future change.”
On how she feels about Miley Cyrus twerking: “Miley Cyrus has always been that, I’ve known her since she was a kid. That’s always what she’s been into. If she loves hip hop music and she loves hip hop culture, that’s what she loves. My sister is a black girl and she loves alternative music and people think she’s weird [laughing].”

Lea Michele poses in her living room of the cover of InStyle‘s special Home and Design issue, on stands September 30. Here’s what the 30-year-old Scream Queens star had to share with the mag:
On preferring to a night-in at home: “I’m a homebody. I’m not a party girl. I’ve never been that. Trust me, I love to go out and share a nice bottle of wine with some friends over a delicious meal, but my perfect night is at home with people I love.”
On her close relationship with her parents: “My mom and dad have done so much for me and helped me along the way immensely, both logistically and emotionally. Opening my home to them and treating them to a beautiful, relaxing time makes me happy.”
On wanting to have a family: “I am so looking forward to having a big family and being a mom, though I’m in no rush. The thing that I’m the most happy about is that I wake up every day feeling content, just me. I’ve never really had that before. I think once you find that, then all the things you want in life come your way.”

Keke Palmer just made a major revelation – she recorded an entire album while starring on True Jackson, VP that she never released! The 22-year-old Scream Queens actress explained to fans that when she was sixteen she struggled with depression and anxiety, feeling as though she was suppressing who she really was to please her record labels.“These are the words I was afraid to stand behind because I had too much anxiety and could not process my experiences and how they were separate from the spirit of who I was… I let the labels confusion of me not being able to fit in a box become MY confusion of me. It was almost as if I was “divergent” (which we all are) and I was being ridiculed and not supported because the industry couldn’t understand it. I swallowed my voice for so long and felt that I would not release this music because I was sick of the music business turning its back on me!!” she explained on her website.
Keke added, “It wasn’t until many years later (now) that I have listened back on these records and realized I have always known the truth of who I was I just allowed others perception of me to become my perception of myself. I did not spread my wings because I was told I couldn’t fly a certain way and I believed it!…My anxiety, caused by the habit of unconsciously holding my breath, coupled with the stress of my personal life at that time created a lot of hard years of depression for me. However, I am exalted now because God brings it to you when you are ready, not when you think you are. I am now right where I should be and I can see with my heart that I have always known who I am and who I want to be.”
Keke is now ready to share the album, which she titled “Waited to Exhale,” with her fans. The entire album is available to be streamed on SoundCloud.
