GOSSIP - "Streghe" come loro nessuna! Le ex colleghe di set Rose McGowan e Alyssa Milano ai ferri corti in nome della difesa delle donne dagli abusi sessuali
Rose McGowan poses with her book “Brave” at a 92Y conversation with Ronan Farrow on Thursday (February 1) in New York City. The night before, the 45-year-old actress appeared on Nightline and shared her thoughts on her former Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano.
When asked if she’s proud of Alyssa for her work with the Me Too movement, Rose said, “I don’t like her” and added, “’cause I think she’s a lie.”
“Do you think I don’t know these people? I’m not looking at this from the outside. I have a lot of experience. I know she’s married to a CAA agent [Dave Bugliari],” Rose said. “I do the math. Who’s behind Time’s Up? CAA. Where do they meet? CAA. Who needs good PR? CAA. Who are part of the pimp problem? CAA.”
When the reporter said, “these are very powerful people you’re talking about,” Rose replied, “They are. So am I.”
Alyssa provided a statement in which she voiced support for Rose.
“I am and always have been completely supportive of Rose and admire her bravery in speaking about her experiences,” she said. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and perspectives, and I cannot speak to anyone else’s motivations. My goal throughout the past few months with both #MeToo and the Time’s Up movement has been to use my platform to give others a voice so we can all work together to stamp out sexual harassment and sexual assault.”
