Notizia tratta da "The Hollywood Reporter"
Fringe duo J.J. Abrams and J.H. Wyman are reteaming for a sci-fi project set up at Fox. The new show is set in the not-so-distant future, like Abrams' upcoming NBC drama Revolution, and revolves around LAPD officers who are now partnered with highly evolved humanlike androids. The network, which will wrap Fringe following a 13-episode final season this year, has given a pilot-production commitment to a futuristic cop drama, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Wyman will pen the untitled project and executive produce alongside Abrams and Bryan Burk for Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Television, where Abrams is based. Kathy Lingg will co-executive produce. The buddy-cop drama comes as Abrams prepares to wrap Fringe with a fifth and final season and as the prolific producer is poised to launch NBC's postapocalyptic drama Revolution -- which is set 15 years in the future.

Get ready for another superhero series!
This fall on The CW's Arrow, fans will get to follow the exploits of DC Comics' Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), a playboy who spent five years on a deserted island after a horrific boating accident. The prodigal son will return home and use the alias Green Arrow, a superhero who's super handy with a bow and arrow, to save his precious Star City from the criminals who lie in wait. Arrow has all the trademarks of a great superhero series, including a lost love — Katie Cassidy as Dinah "Laurel" Lance — and the loss of a, spoiler alert, parental figure.

With the premiere of Arrow, The CW has the chance to once again be the home to a long-running superhero series that will not only attract Smallville followers, but also comic book aficionados and fanboys — and even fangirls! — alike. But — and this is a big but — the writers behind Arrowneed to adhere to certain rules in hero series as to not make the same mistakes of the past. Therefore, we've created a list of things that Arrow should and shouldn't do in order to be successful based on tried-and-true heroic formats:
1. Smallville: Give fans what they want! Tom Welling & Co. were insistent on sticking to the "no tights, no flight" rule, disappointing fans wanting to see Superman flying in his iconic suit until the series' final episode. The big moments of the Green Arrow canon should — and hopefully will — happen sooner, rather than later. (Fortunately, fans won't have to wait long to see Ollie in costume since he suits up in the pilot.)
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Tortured love works. Watching Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Angel (David Boreanaz) doing the will-they-or-won't-they dance was an ever-present necessity considering if they did, ahem, get together, he'd go crazy and kill everyone. Plus, Buffy had to focus on saving the world, which is precisely what Ollie will also be doing. (You'll have to wait a while for the Ollie and Dinah romance since he seriously breaks her heart in the premiere.)
3. 24: Keep the action high. The Kiefer Sutherland-starring series was at its best when Jack Bauer was constantly running around trying to save the world — so that's pretty much always. The high-intensity, action-packed drama kept fans on the edge of their seats. While there's no countdown clock in Arrow, here's hoping they keep up that same fast-paced action.
4. The Cape: Don't take yourself too seriously. The short-lived NBC series was all camp, much like the original Batman fare. However, The Cape spent much of the time trying to be dark, when it should've embraced the ridiculousness of its premise: a man dressed in a costume trying to save the world. Arrow, a much darker series in its own right, just needs to find the right balance of both.
5. Touch: Keep it simple, stupid. Fox's midseason series was just a touch too complicated, with a mess of intertwining story lines that sometimes had fans scratching their heads  or taking notes to keep it all straight. (It's OK, Lost did it, too.) Dear Arrow, one story line a week, that's all you need. Just make sure to find a balance between longer arcs and "villains of the week."
6. Heroes: Don't stray too far from your central characters. The NBC super series was in its prime during the first season, when the show focused solely on saving the cheerleader, and those who helped along the way. But once the world of Heroes opened up to, well, the rest of the world, the series lost touch with the heart of the show. As long as Arrow stays focused on Ollie, and by extension, Dinah, it should be easier for fans to follow.
7. Batman Begins: Keep it gritty and grounded. Christopher Nolan's remake of the Batmanfranchise surpassed its campy predecessors simply by finding the right balance of danger and darkness in a realistic world. Sure, Christian Bale still flies through the air as a giant bat, but audiences can actually relate to him because Bale plays him as an everyman — who just so happens to be a billionaire.
8. Green Lantern: Don't go overboard with special effects. Just because you can afford to create a whole world on a computer, doesn't mean you should. We're also looking at you, newStar Wars trilogy. Green Lantern was far less believable knowing it was all created using a mouse and keyboard. Plus: Who needs to use that much CGI for a guy shooting arrows?
9. Superman Returns: Don't assume the audience knows everything about the mythos.Even the most diehard Superman fans were at a loss over this travesty of a remake. (Had to actually Wikipedia where this film fell in the mythology after watching it — after II, ignoring III and IV.) In that same vein, try not alienate the audience by inserting too many inside references to the Green Arrow canon. A few for the dedicated comic book fans are great, but don't cross the line,Arrow.
10. Iron Man: Don't make the hero's real life so ostentatious. Both Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Oliver Queen are playboys-turned-superheroes, but Iron Man often crossed the line into ridiculous territory with lavish parties, expensive cars and the like, making him one of the least relatable superheroes. Keep it balanced, Arrow!
11. The Avengers and X-Men: Bring on the superhero friends! Both of these films proved that getting a bunch of superheroes together is a good idea. Since the Green Arrow is a member of the Justice League, it should be no problem — rights pending, of course — to bring on a few of the iconic team members. Though, they can hold off on bringing Superman around considering the new series should put some distance between itself and Smallville. Plus: Make sure Dinah actually takes on the Black Canary alias within the first season.
12. The Vampire Diaries: Don't be afraid to take big risks. CW's other "hero" series — vampires can be good people, too! — was certainly unafraid to kill off their main character in the closing moments of last season's finale. Sure, Elena (Nina Dobrev) will come back as a vampire next season, but it radically alters the climate of the series. Arrow should strive to be as willing to take their viewers over the cliff — as long as there's a safety net ready to catch us at the last minute.
What do you think Arrow should do to be successful?
Arrow debuts Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 8/7 on The CW. Will you be watching?

NEWS - Forza, torna a "Dallas"!

John Ross - abbreviato in J. R., italianizzato in Gei Ar - indissolubilmente legato a «Dallas», inteso come telefilm, torna a cospirare come ai bei tempi.

Hayden Panettiere wears a fashionable Bec & Bridge ‘Bianca Adventurer’ fedora at the Nashville panel during the 2012 Summer TCA Tour in Beverly Hills, Calif. The 22-year-old actress chatted about the comparisons between her character Juliette and reigning country princess Taylor Swift at the panel. “I’ve heard the Taylor Swift thing quite a bit and I think besides being around the same age and blond — not even the height — they are different” Hayden shared. Hayden added, “I when think you guys see her and get to know Juliette a little better, you’ll see. But I really think Taylor would disagree wholeheartedly as well. She’s much nicer than my character.”

FYI: Hayden is wearing an alice+olivia dress with a J Brand jacket, Louboutin booties and Sethi Couture earrings.

(CNN) -- Actor Robert Blake accused CNN's Piers Morgan of calling him a liar in a combative, profanity-laced interview that was more remarkable for its tone than revelations surrounding his acquittal in the 2001 murder of his wife. Blake, 78, said he agreed to appear on the show Wednesday to promote his self-published memoir "Tales Of A Rascal," telling Morgan that the book was not about his late wife, Bonnie Lee Bakley, or their relationship. "I made a deal to come here and talk about anybody from the book," Blake said after Morgan asked about his feelings about the case. "I excused you from that deal because I thought you were going to be cool. Now you're trying to (bleep) into the ground." Blake was acquitted in 2005 in connection with the murder of Bakley, though that same year he was found liable for her death in a wrongful death lawsuit and ordered to pay $30 million. Blake subsequently filed for bankruptcy. When Morgan asked about the case, including the civil suit, Blake demanded: "Do you know why I was arrested?" "Tell me," Morgan said. "Well, before you start asking questions, you should do some goddamn research," Blake said. The actor has long maintained his innocence, raising questions about Bakley's past and her relationships with other men as a possible motive. Bakley, who also had a well publicized relationship with Marlon Brando's son Christian, was found shot in the head in North Hollywood in 2001. The couple had married six months earlier after a paternity test revealed her child belonged to Blake not Brando.
"Bonnie had people that she burned. How bad I don't know. Did she steal everything from them? We'll leave that alone. But nobody really knew where Bonnie was. She had 15 ID cards. She had 15 credit cards. She had different places where she lived and nobody could ever find her if they were looking for her," Blake told Morgan. "But one day somebody opened the paper and saw that Bonnie just married Robert Blake and where does Robert Blake live. And what a couple of weeks later she was dead. I want you to chew on that for a bit." Blake's use of profanity is nothing new. Excerpts posted online from his self-published book are filled with it, especially as he describes the case that was built against him by Los Angeles authorities -- and his subsequent imprisonment while waiting to stand trial.Blake accused Morgan of insulting him by raising questions about the case. "Nobody tells me I'm a liar," Blake said. At one point during one of Blake's tirades, Morgan asked: "Are you sane?" Later Blake said: "My skin is a little bit thin. I've never allowed anybody to ask me the questions you're asking."But during a 2011 interview with Tavis Smiley, the actor touched on similar subjects and gave similar answers, including accusing the talk show host of "getting a little weird now" when he asked questions about the case's aftermath, according to a transcript of the interview posted online.
When Morgan raised questions about what he said he "presumed to be a very important moment" in Blake's life, the actor responded: "I didn't write about that life and I didn't write a book about Bonnie."
At times, Blake appeared to be drawing on his acting experience, quoting lines from movies or interviews he gave years earlier. When Morgan asked where Blake was living, the actor appeared to draw on an answer he gave in 1993 to Entertainment Weekly: "I live in an apartment. I told you, I'm broke. I couldn't buy spats for a hummingbird." At other times, Blake took profanity-infused lines directly from his book, according to excerpts published online, delivering them almost verbatim, including an explanation of how he lost the civil suit brought by Bakley's family. "They didn't win it, I lost it. I went up there, suicidal, to lose that," he told Morgan. He went on to call Morgan "Charlie Potatoes" or "Charlie" during the interview, taking a line from the 1958 movie "The Defiant Ones" that describes a man who is rich and popular. "You're just like the cops. There's no place to get. Keep him in jail until he dies because everybody who's dead is guilty," he told Morgan, again using language from his book. Twitter -- the closest thing to an instant barometer of public opinion -- exploded with reaction."To my friend Charlie Potatoes: Great TV! Better you than me," former talk show host Arsenio Hall tweeted. Morgan, himself, tweeted: "Incredible interview. I'd cast him in a movie with Charlie Sheen tomorrow." Morgan also asked Blake about his wife's background. "I think she was a con artist, yes," Blake said. "I think she came to Hollywood to con her way into show business."
Blake also said he "didn't know here well enough to know her." "I love her - well, I love you as a human being. You're my brother in arms," he told Morgan during the interview. "We're all in this thing together. But we were not dramatically in love or things like that." Blake is best known for his role as a tough-talking detective in the 1970s TV show "Baretta" and his Oscar-nominated performance as condemned killer in the 1967 movie "In Cold Blood." He began his career as a child actor, starring as a Mickey in the "Our Gang" movie shorts.

L'EDICOLA DI LOU - Stralci e commenti sui telefilm dai media italiani e stranieri

LINKIESTA
"The Newsroom ", dilemma amletico sul giornalismo

Mi spiego meglio: a me The Newsroom sta piacendo. Moltissimo.

"Glee" star Lea Michele is in love… with her shoes! The actress, 25, appears in Candie’s latest back-to-school ad campaign for junior’s clothing label and is seen lusting after a pair of footwear. Starring in a series of print and TV ads, the brunette beauty spots shoes in the window of Kohl’s, only to find her affections returned by an oggling (and hot!) sales boy. “The idea behind the commercial is very cute,” Michele said in a statement. “I’m walking down the street, pass by a Kohl’s store and this amazing pair of Candie’s shoes in the window catch my eye.” “Well, there just so happens to be a stock boy working in the window, and while I’m staring at the shoes, falling in love with them, he thinks I’m looking and falling in love with him, but girls love their shoes so…” she says. The Glee gal is the latest to top a long list of celebrities who have lent their star power to the label, including Britney Spears, Jenny McCarthy and Hayden Panettiere.
Up next, Michele has another hit season of Glee. Season three of the show wrapped with Rachel hoping to move to New York alongside Chris Colfer‘s character Kurt Hummel in pursuit of their musical theater dreams. Finn, played by Michele’s on and off screen beau Cory Monteith, is also reportedly set to join the duo as they take on the Big Apple. (Articolo tratto da Celebuzz)

L'EDICOLA DI LOU - Stralci e commenti sui telefilm dai media italiani e stranieri

CORRIERE DELLA SERA
"Shameless" emoziona e diverte (ancora)
