Charlie Hunnam has something to say about his female fans! The 37-year-old King Arthur: Legend of the Sword actor was spotted grabbing a bite to eat with some buddies on Monday (May 22) in West Hollywood, Calif. Charlie recently returned from a trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil, to premiere the movie, where he wore a crown and revealed how filming “destroyed” his body! Regarding his female fan base, Charlie told Glamour, “Our key demographic on Sons Of Anarchy was predominantly female. And King Arthur is appealing in the test screenings much more to women than men – so I feel that even though I play hyper-masculine roles, I’ve always been well-received by the female audience.”

NEWS - Preparate il caffè nero come una notte senza luna: stanotte, alle 3.00, parte su Sky Atlantic il nuovo "Twin Peaks" e nulla sarà come prima (in realtà non lo era già da qualche tempo): chi non trasmette le serie tv in contemporanea agli Usa è come un uomo senza un braccio (o un nano che balla, o un travestito che assomiglia a Mulder, o a una donna con un ceppo...). Insomma, è tagliato fuori!

Grande attesa per il ritorno di Twin Peaks: arriva in esclusiva su Sky Atlantic HD, dal 26 maggio ogni venerdì alle 21.15 in contemporanea con gli Stati Uniti. Il ritorno dell’attesissima serie tv di David Lynchsi mostrerà per la prima volta anche in Italia già nella notte fra domenica 21 e lunedì 22, quando dalle 3.00 su Sky Atlantic HD sarà possibile assistere ai primi due episodi della nuova stagione in versione originale sottotitolata, a 25 anni dall’ultima puntata della seconda stagione.

Riserbo assoluto sulla trama, materiali promozionali rilasciati con estrema parsimonia, tutti i 18 nuovi episodi sono stati scritti dal regista, David Lynch – che nella serie interpreta anche un agente dell’FBI – e dallo sceneggiatore storico della serie Mark Frost. 

Nel cast, oltre al ritorno del protagonista Dale Cooper, interpretato ancora una volta da Kyle MacLachlan - e di altri volti storici della serie, da Mädchen Amick a Sherilyn Fenn e Sheryl Lee, fino a Ray Wise -, tantissimi sono i nuovi e prestigiosi ingressi: Monica Bellucci, Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Naomi Watts, Trent Reznor e Laura Dern. 

Per l’occasione, domenica 21 maggio sarà trasmesso il docufilm presentato a Venezia DAVID LYNCH – THE ART LIFE, in onda alle 21.15 su Sky Arte HD e alle 22.50 su Sky Atlantic HD (per il ciclo Il Racconto del reale). Nel film Lynch accompagna lo spettatore in un intimo e personale viaggio nel tempo, raccontando gli anni della sua formazione artistica. Dall’infanzia nella tranquilla provincia Americana fino all’arrivo a Philadelphia, le tappe del percorso che ha portato Lynch a diventare uno dei più enigmatici e controversi registi del cinema contemporaneo. Il film penetra nell’arte, nella musica e nei primi film di Lynch, gettando luce negli angoli oscuri del suo singolare mondo e permettendo al pubblico di capire meglio l’uomo e l’artista.

NEWS - Siete davvero pronti? Nuovo trailer angosciante di "Twin Peaks" e weekend Experience ideato da Sky Atlantic

Un appuntamento imperdibile per tutti i fan di Twin Peaks e non solo: il prossimo weekend a Milano sarà possibile vivere una vera e propria TWIN PEAKS EXPERIENCE con appuntamenti dedicati fino a notte fonda. L’occasione è “Piano City Milano”, la kermesse che porta centinaia di pianoforti nel capoluogo lombardo e di cui Sky è partner: nel weekend del 20-21 maggio, si terrà una due giorni di concerti basati sulle più celebri colonne sonore delle serie TV di Sky, da Il Trono di Spade a 1992, a The Young Pope. La location scelta per questi appuntamenti è BASE Milano, nuovo progetto per la cultura che ha visto rinascere e restituire alla città gli storici spazi industriali dell’ex Ansaldo, in via Bergognone 34.

La TWIN PEAKS EXPERIENCE è una vera e propria esperienza di immersione sensoriale, ma soprattutto sonora, progettata e realizzata ad hoc per questo evento. Si potrà viaggiare attraverso le atmosfere senza tempo della serie, tra le sue musiche inconfondibili e le suggestioni sonore rese celebri dalla serie cult di David Lynch. Un’occasione decisamente eccezionale per tutti coloro che vorranno riassaporare le emozioni di una serie che ha fatto la storia della tv, ma che rappresenta 

anche un titolo probabilmente non troppo noto alle nuove generazioni, che non hanno potuto vedere le prime due stagioni andate in onda più di 25 anni fa.

La TWIN PEAKS EXPERIENCE rappresenta dunque un ottimo percorso di avvicinamento per tutti coloro che vogliono prepararsi degnamente al debutto di TWIN PEAKS – LA SERIE EVENTO, che sarà trasmesso in esclusiva su Sky Atlantic HD in versione originale sottotitolata a partire dalla notte tra domenica 21 e lunedì 22 maggio, alle 3.00. Non ci sarà solo l’Experience a BASE Milano: sabato 20 a partire dalle 17.30 sarà possibile ascoltare le musiche originale composte dal maestro Angelo Badalamenti per la serie 

“Twin Peaks”, eseguite live da Nina Esiava, giovane pianista georgiana di 25 anni. A seguire, dalle 19 e fino alle 4.30 del mattino, una lunga maratona di tutta la prima stagione di “Twin Peaks”, evento in collaborazione con Sky Atlantic HD.

Domenica 21 maggio si inizia alle 11.00 con alcune tra le colonne sonore più celebri tratte dalle serie tv di successo: il pianista e star di YouTube Costantino Carrara eseguirà infatti le musiche di “Il Trono di Spade” (da luglio su Sky Atlantic HD la nuova stagione in esclusiva e in contemporanea con gli Stati Uniti”, la produzione originale Sky, “1992” e altre serie tv. Alle 16.30 sarà la volta di Bruno Bavota, giovane pianista e compositore napoletano, che eseguirà a BASE Milano i brani da lui composti per la serie “The Young Pope”, la produzione originale Sky diretta dal Premio Oscar Paolo Sorrentino. Chiuderà la due giorni, alle 19.00, il concerto di Luciano Supervielle, pianista e tra i più prolifici autori di colonne sonore in Sudamerica.

Star Trek: Discovery‘s first season on CBS All Access will consist of 15 episodes, up from the 13 originally commissioned. In addition to the order increase, Star Trek: Discovery will be getting a companion show, Talking Trek. After some delays, Star Trek: Discovery, currently filming its sixth episode, is on track for a fall launch with a premiere on CBS. The announcement was made during CBS’s upfront presentation, where the first trailer for Star Trek: Discovery made its debut. We will post it as soon as it’s available. 
Ready for a look at Star Trek: Discovery? Here’s the first photo of stars Michelle Yeoh as Captain Philippa Georgiou and Sonequa Martin-Green as First Officer Michael Burnham. The image has the duo beamed down to an as-yet-unrevealed planet. We can say for the first time that the eagerly anticipated CBS All Access series is not only filming at a studio in Toronto but also shot scenes like this one in Jordan. There are a couple of details for fans in this shot as well: Burnham has what looks like an old-school flip communicator on her belt (Discovery is a prequel to the 1966 original series) as well as what could be a tricorder hanging below her left hip — seems appropriate for a First Officer (Spock often carried a tricorder on missions supporting Captain Kirk in TOS). Other previously announced cast members include Jason Isaacs (the Harry Potter franchise) as Captain Lorca, James Frain (Gotham) as Spock’s father, Sarek; Doug Jones (Hellboy) as Lt. Saru, a Starfleet Science Officer and member of a new alien species in the Star Trek universe; and Anthony Rapp (Rent) as Lt. Stamets.

Con "1993" la tragedia pubblica diventa spettacolo corale
"'1993' è il secondo capitolo della serie che racconta la storia di Tangentopoli. Come in '1992', le vicende ruotano attorno a sei personaggi: Leonardo Notte, un pubblicitario coinvolto nella nascita di Forza Italia (Stefano Accorsi), la sua compagna (Laura Chiatti), un onorevole leghista (Guido Caprino), una soubrette del Bagaglino (Miriam Leone), un poliziotto del pool Mani pulite (Domenico Diele) e una ricca ereditiera (Tea Falco) (Sky Atlantic, martedì, ore 21.15). La serie, prodotta da Wildside, scritta da Alessandro Fabbri, Ludovica Rampoldi, Stefano Sardo, e diretta da Giuseppe Gagliardi, vive su due forti idee drammaturgiche. La prima è di rendere quanto più credibili i personaggi di finzione, soprattutto l'inafferrabile Notte, per poter poi liberamente usare i registri dell'eccentrico o del grottesco per rappresentare i personaggi «veri» (Craxi, Berlusconi, Di Pietro e il pool di Mani Pulite, i fratelli Dell'Utri, Costanzo, Biscardi, Marzullo, Lerner...). È come se la tv ci restituisse quanto voracemente hanno inghiottito in quegli anni turbinosi gli occhi di uno spettatore onnivoro. La seconda — riferita dagli sceneggiatori — è quella del «romanzo pop»: «Buttiamoci dentro tutte le nostre passioni di spettatori e le nostre frustrazioni di autori... Assumiamo il punto di vista di personaggi che apparentemente non ci assomigliano, di un campo che la narrativa italiana in genere considera avverso, con il piglio della serialità che amiamo». Ne esce così il ritratto di un Paese apatico e feroce, tragico e ridicolo, dove il «senso civico» ha lasciato il posto al «socialmente utile». Rispetto a 4992», che funzionava per tessere di mosaico (e di montaggio), in «1993» c'è più lavoro di scrittura e maggiore consapevolezza, con il dichiarato tentativo di ispirarsi a «American Tabloid» di James Ellroy. Martin made the announcement on his blog on Sunday (May 14). “We had four scripts in development when I arrived in L.A. last week, but by the time I left we had five,” George announced. “I do think it’s very unlikely that we’ll be getting four (or five) series. At least not immediately. What we do have here is an order for four — now five — pilot scripts. How many pilots will be filmed, and how many series might come out of that, remains to be seen. (If we do get five series on the air, I might have to change my name to Dick Direwolf).”

Charlie Hunnam was the original choice to play human doorknob Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey, but he (wisely, considering the final product) exited the project due to scheduling issues. “It was the worst professional experience of my life,” the Sons of Anarchy star said. “It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I’ve ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking.” If Hunnam got that worked up over Grey, imagine how he feels about turning down a role in Game of Thrones. While promoting the nü-metal epic King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Hunnam told the Sun, “I would love to do a Game of Thrones cameo. They offered me a cameo on that show a little while ago, but I was shooting something else, so I wasn’t able to do it. But maybe in the future, who knows.” Between Thrones (where he’d be a natural fit for the Night’s Watch — he’s also not afraid to show his butt, which is helpful for this show) and a potential appearance on the Sons spinoff Mayans MC, Hunnam has a hypothetically busy future. He’s also reportedly in the running to replace Daniel Craig as the next 007. “I can say two things,” he said on Conan. “I’m English and I look devilishly handsome in a suit. I can say three things… and nobody has called me about playing James Bond, so I’m pretty sure that’s not going to happen.” There’s always the Undeclared reunion special. His accent’s gotten better.

David on where his ideas come from: “It comes in a burst. An idea comes in, and if you stop and think about it, it has sound, it has image, it has a mood, and it even has an indication of wardrobe, and knowing a character, or the way they speak, the words they say. A whole bunch of things can come in an instant.”

Laura on the original series: “I don’t think anyone who ever saw Twin Peaks will ever have it not ingrained in their memory and imagination for the rest of their lives.

Kyle on David’s creative process: “There’s no wasted time or wasted emotions, tangents, whatever. He’s very precise when we talk through the scene, and he tells me what’s going to happen. He has already thought it through, and he sees it.”

NEWS - Clamoroso al CibalHeroes! Tutte le serie tv e i film Marvel avranno (prima o poi) un crossover!

Most people working behind the scenes of Marvel Studios have been doubtful at best regarding the chances of a crossover happening between the films and TV shows of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige didn’t rule it out but said “it all depends on timing” while Jeph Loeb said coordinating schedules to make it work can be difficult when you consider how fast-paced a television show’s schedule is compared to a movie. On the other end of the spectrum, after making the jump from film to television, Clark Gregg lamented that “corporate stuff” was keeping a crossover from happening while his Agents of SHIELD co-star Chloe Bennett was a little more critical of Marvel Studios for essentially ignoring their ABC show. Now Kevin Feige sounds somewhat more amiable about a Marvel movie and TV crossover happening, though he makes it sound like it won’t be happening anytime soon. io9 spoke to Kevin Feige recently, and they said that he sounded much more optimistic about the chances of a crossover. Specifically, they asked about whether seeing a character appear in a Marvel TV shows rules out the possibility of having that character appear in a Marvel movie. Here’s what Feige said on the matter:

“Not necessarily. The future’s a long time. So, the truth is, I don’t really know, but there are a lot of TV shows being made, and hopefully we’ll continue to make a lot of movies. At some point, there’s going to be a crossover. Crossover, repetition, or something.”

It sounds like Feige is indicating that sometime down the road a crossover between film and television is inevitable. However, that last part where Feige says “repetition” also hints at the possibility of characters from the TV side of things getting a big screen reboot in the future. There’s a lot that can still happen before Marvel starts rebooting their more prominent characters, but since there are various iterations of all superheroes in the comic books, we’ll undoubtedly see different version of those characters brought to the big or small screen. If I were to predict what will happen as the Marvel Cinematic Universe goes on, I would guess that the cosmic side of the MCU will eventually lead to the revelation that there are parallel universes where alternate versions of superheroes like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Spider-Man and more exist. That’s pure speculation on my part, but that feels like the easiest way to reboot franchises while still keeping the mythology of the original MCU intact and connected to the movies and TV shows that will happen in the distant future.
