on tv”.
Choice Awards (“miglior comedy dell’anno”, premiate Kate Mulgrew e Uzo Aduba),

This is what happens when Batman isn't around to protect people.
McKenzie posted a photo to Instagram of himself with a gash on his forehead. "Fight sequence gone awry," McKenzie captioned the photo. "Don't ram your head into concrete pillars, kids. #gotham." He added: "Holy concrete wall, Batman!" McKenzie also pointed out that the incident happened on his birthday.
Luckily, McKenzie was able to get stitched up, and he thanked the doctor who treated him. McKenzie plans to resume filming the show on Monday.
Prior to this, the news surrounding Gotham had been largely positive. The show was recently named the most promising new series of the upcoming fall season in a poll by the Television Critics Association, and, in an unprecedented move, Netflix snatched up the rights to the show prior to its premiere. Gotham makes its debut Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. on Fox.

Pompeo said her decision stems from feeling a sense of completion with her work on the hit ABC medical drama, which is heading into its eleventh season this fall. “With acting, I don’t feel I have anything to prove anymore,” she explained. “Grey’s is in 97 countries or something, and we’ve had this blessing of all these wonderful fans who still love us 10 years later; I feel like we did it. And I don’t have anything else to prove.”
She continued, “I’d like to try and challenge myself. I feel like I
got the acting thing. I would like to try and see if I could do
something different, and be successful at something different. I feel
like I’m very successful at acting, at my definition of success. Some
other people want films or Oscars or whatever, and that’s their journey.
For my journey, I kind of feel like I did the absolute top of what I
could do with television, and I would like to try a new sport and see if
I’m any good at something else.”For now, Pompeo is signed on to Grey’s through Season 12, should ABC order another year of Shonda Rhimes’ longest-running series, but when asked if she would be open to playing Meredith Grey beyond that, she replied, “I can’t possibly say. I don’t ever take anything for granted, and I would never be so arrogant as to assume the show would go to Season 12. If we’re doing our jobs, then possibly we’ll be grateful to get a Season 12, but I won’t assume anything. Let’s just make them happy now before we worry about making them happy four years from now.”

Su Fox Comedy, la 'casa del divertimento', verranno trasmesse serie comedy e sitcom prodotte negli Stati Uniti: da classici, come New Girl e Modern Family, a novita', tra cui Friends with better lives, Welcome to the family e progetti innovativi come Wilfred, Louie, The league o It's always sunny in Philadelphia.

Nick Wechsler does his best James Dean in this new photo from his latest cover feature for Bleu Magazine. Here’s what the 35-year-old Revenge star had to share with the mag:
On his hero: “Batman is the f-cking coolest (but) having super powers makes you more of a target so I would rather right wrongs [and] fly under the radar.”
On his music faves: “Kanye [West] counts himself out. If the choice is between Kanye and anyone else, I’m picking the other guy.”
On his personal style: “If a vampire f-cked a hipster and had a baby, that baby would be me.”

News tratta da Deadline.comOn the heels of the success of Arrow and the strong buzz for its upcoming offshoot The Flash — both co-created and executive produced by Greg Berlanti — the top producer is looking to transition another popular DC superhero character to the small screen. Berlanti has teamed with Ali Adler, who worked on his ABC series No Ordinary Family, for a TV series based on Supergirl. Warner Bros. TV, which is behind all DC TV series, will produce with Berlanti’s studio-based Berlanti Prods..
The project, which is still in development, will be a new interpretation of the Supergirl character and her story. Adler will write the script and will executive produce with Berlanti Prods.’ Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. DC’s Geoff Johns, who has been involved in both Arrow and The Flash, is also expected to be part of the project but it is unclear at this time what his role will be. The Supergirl show doesn’t have a name yet. The producers are considering several options that need to be cleared, including Super and Girl. The project is expected to be taken out in a couple of weeks and pitched to the major networks the way WBTV and DC did with their high profile Batman prequel Gotham, which landed at Fox with a big commitment. The Supergirl series had been in the works at WBTV for some time with Berlanti and Adler. Contrary to a report that was picked up by a number of outlets, Michael Green has had no involvement in the project.
The Supergirl character was created by writer Otto Binder and
designed by artist Al Plastino in 1959. There had been several
characters that had assumed the caped girl persona, most notably
Superman’s cousin, Kara Zor-El, who shares his super powers and
vulnerability to Kryptonite. There has been a push to get more female
superhero characters in comic books and on the big and small screens.
Marvel has a Jessica Jones series in pre-production at Netflix.

"In what is believed to be the first SVOD deal for a broadcast series made before its premiere, Netflix has reached an agreement with Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution for the upcoming Fox drama series Gotham. Under the pact, Netflix will become the exclusive subscription video on demand home of the Warner Bros. TV-produced Batman prequel in the U.S. as well as in each of the territories in which the streaming network operates and select other territories in which it plans to launch services. Each season of the series will be available to Netflix members following their broadcast run. In the U.S. that is expected to be in September 2015, coinciding with the potential Season 2 premiere. Noone is discussing figures, but I hear the deal is worth about $1.75 million an episode. The unprecedented deal was put in motion shortly after the Gotham pilot had a great reception at the L.A. international screenings in May. I hear Netflix approached WBWTD about a pact that would cover multiple territories. That was a very tricky proposition as WBWTD has different agreements in each country, with the terms of the output deals, including holdback rights against SVOD releases, varying from territory to territory. After laying the groundwork country by country, the two sides have been able to clear the show in all Netflix markets around the world. The pact builds on Warner Bros.’ existing relationship with Netflix, which includes another precedent-setting pact that covers all CW series. The Gotham deals comes on the heels of Netflix nabbing Sony TV-produced hit NBC drama The Blacklist for $2 million an episode. Sony also made a deal similar to the Gotham one for its upcoming Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul, which airs on cable on AMC. In it, Netflix gets first window in territories outside of the U.S.
Premiering on September 22 on Fox in the US, Gotham draws on the origin story of Batman, taking place in Gotham City as young Detective (and future Commissioner) James Gordon and the recently orphaned Bruce Wayne meet in the troubled days before the arrival of the Dark Knight. The series follows Gordon’s rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner as he navigates the layers of corruption that secretly rule Gotham City. The cast includes Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, Jada Pinkett Smith and Sean Pertwee. “Gotham is the most anticipated new series of the fall season and we are thrilled to offer it to our members around the world,” said Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix. “The Batman origin story is sure to have massive global appeal so it is fitting that, along with Warner Television, we have created a new model for distributing a show that international and domestic audiences will love.
