Former "Happy Days" star Erin Moran has had a rough year.
The actress, who shot to stardom as Joanie Cunningham, was kicked out of the trailer park where she lived in September, and has now become a recluse holed up in an Indiana hotel room where she's writing a book about her life, reports RadarOnline.
Sources tell the website that the 52-year-old has been staying in various hotels after being bounced from the trailer park she was forced to move into after reportedly going broke and being evicted from her California home in June. Moran was living in a trailer with her husband, Steve Fleischmann, and his 72-year-old mother -- who she allegedly got into a drunken brawl with in early October.
"Erin thinks the best thing for her at the moment is to just stay in," a source told the website of her new reclusive lifestyle.

The actress is reportedly still broke despite the fact that she and her "Happy Days" castmates reached a settlement with CBS over licensing and merchandising revenue in July. The lawsuit originally asked for $10 million, but the final decision was reportedly a $65,000 payment for each of the four original stars, plus future royalties.
Most recently, Moran appeared on "Celebrity Fit Club" in 2008, but has had few acting gigs since the 1980s, when she appeared in the "Happy Days" spinoff, "Joanie Loves Chachi," and had small walk-on roles in series like "The Love Boat" and "Murder, She Wrote."
